Abstract

Abstrak: Analisis ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis motivasi belajar siswa di era normal baru setelah sebelumnya melaksanakan pembelajaran secara daring. Masalah difokuskan pada motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII-A SMP Muhammadiyah 61 Tanjung Selamat pasca pandemi COVID-19. Pandemi global COVID-19 memasuki era baru yang disebut new normal, banyak peralihan sistem dan proses pembelajaran di sekolah, yang sebelumnya dilaksanakan secara daring menggunakan berbagai media, kemudian hari ini dilaksanakan dengan pertemuan tatap muka terbatas.  Analisis ini dilakukan di SMP Muhammadiyah 61 Tanjung Selamat dengan sampel sebanyak sembilan orang siswa berdasarkan tingkatan kemampuan. Pendekatan teori terhadap analisis ini berdasarkan teori motivasi belajar Eggen dan Kauchack yang menyatakan bahwa belajar dan motivasi saling berkaitan. Sehingga analisis motivasi belajar pasca sistem pembelajaran yang tidak stabil akibat pandemi perlu diperhatikan, sebelum melaksanakan perlakuan terhadap proses pembelajaran di kelas. Data-data dalam analisis ini diambil berdasarkan wawancara. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Berdasarkan kajian yang dilakukan analisis ini menunjukkan siswa/I kelas VIII-A SMP Muhammadiyah 61 Tanjung Selamat memiliki Motivasi Belajar yang tinggi. Kata Kunci: Pandemi; COVID-19; Motivasi Belajar; New Normal Abstract: This analysis aims to analyze student learning motivation in the new normal era after previously carrying out online learning. The problem focused on the learning motivation of class VIII-A SMP Muhammadiyah 61 Tanjung Selamat after the COVID-19 pandemic. The global COVID-19 pandemic has entered a new era called the new normal, many system changes and learning processes in schools, which were previously carried out online using various media, are now being held with limited face-to-face meetings. This analysis was conducted at SMP Muhammadiyah 61 Tanjung Selamat with a sample of nine students based on ability levels. The theoretical approach to this analysis is based on Eggen and Kauchack's theory of learning motivation which states that learning and motivation are interrelated. So that the analysis of learning motivation after the unstable learning system due to the pandemic needs to be considered, before carrying out the treatment of the learning process in the classroom. The data in this analysis were taken based on interviews. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative method. Based on the study conducted, this analysis shows that the students of class VIII-A of SMP Muhammadiyah 61 Tanjung Selamat have high learning motivation. Keywords: Pandemic; COVID-19; Motivation to learn; New Normal
