Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the tradition of Rebo Wekasan and follow the tradition of Rebo Wekasan which was carried out by the Suci KecamatanVillage Manyar District, Gresik. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach proposed by Sugiyono with descriptive analysis and content. The results of this study are expected can contribute scientific thoughts and ideas about the habits of the Javanese people in preserving ancestral culture in this case the Rebo Wekasan Tradition as a cultural preserve in the area. The conclusions of this study are (1) strengthening the faith and piety of Allah SWT because basically the Tradition of Rebo Wekasan which is commemorated in the month of prayer is to ask for protection from Allah SWT because in that month there are many calamities and disasters, (2) the realization of togetherness and harmony between layers an enthusiastic community in commemorating the Rebo Wekasan Tradition by mutual cooperation and shoulder to shoulder in carrying out these activities.

Abstract

Hakikat dakwah media sosial literasi pesantren adalah mampu memberikan khazanah bagi seluruh lapisan masyarakat yang ingin mendalami ajaran agama Islam dan dapat menguatkan dakwah secara virtual agar tersampaikan dengan baik (secara tulisan atau lisan). Pesantren dalam eksistensinya memiliki fungsi kegiatan tafaqquhu fi ddin yaitu pengajaran, pemahaman, dan pendalaman ajaran agama Islam dan fungsi Indzar yaitu menyampaikan dan mendakwahkan ajaran agama Islam kepada masyarakat. Dengan memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai wadah dalam dakwah akan semakin mudah menyebarluaskan ajaran agama Islam secara universal. Pesantren harus mampu bersinergi membangun peradaban sesuai tuntutan agama Islam dan hadir dengan narasi positif yang tersebar melalui media sosial.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the meaning of jihad according to religionin the prespective of millennial generation. This type of research is qualititativewith descriptive analysis method.Data collection was carried out by theresearchers themselves.The data is taken through direct observation in the town ofLamongan and its surroudings with a phenomonological approach and uses aninterpretive paradigm by building understanding of reality. Rosulullah SAWsaid,with means “ and al muhajjir (people who emigrate) are those who leave theprohibition of Allah SWT ”. According to the big dictionary of Indonesialanguage Muhajjir is a person who moves or is displaced. The perspektive oftoday’s millennial generation is more constructive as a change in self orobediensce for the better in front of Allah SAW.

Abstract

This internship report discusses the process of editing video content using Adobe Premiere Pro at TV9 Nusantara Surabaya. The aim of this report is to provide information about the video editing process carried out at TV9 Nusantara Surabaya using Adobe Premiere Pro software. The methods used in this research are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this research show that the video editing process at TV9 Nusantara Surabaya using Adobe Premiere Pro involves several stages, including importing files, project settings, clip cutting, adding effects, and project completion. Additionally, this report also discusses the role and responsibilities of a video editor at TV9 Nusantara Surabaya in the video editing process. It is hoped that this report can be a reference for broadcasting students who want to learn about the video editing process at a television station.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of citizen journalism in supporting the growth of homeless media, using a case study of the Instagram account @infolamongan in 2024. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques including content observation, interviews with five informants, and digital documentation. The data were analyzed through a source triangulation approach. Findings show that the people of Lamongan actively participate as event reporters, social initiators, digital facilitators, and visual content creators. This participation directly contributes to the growth of the @infolamongan account in terms of follower count, user engagement, and social relevance. The account represents a form of organically-grown homeless media, unaffiliated with formal press institutions, yet effective as a digital public sphere.

Abstract

The rapid digitalization of religion has transformed Islamic communication, enabling pop culture to function as an alternative spiritual vessel. This study examines the representation of da’wah values in “Gala Bunga Matahari” by Sal Priadi, a viral Indonesian song, to analyze how theological messages are encoded in secular pop music. Employing a qualitative approach with Ferdinand de Saussure’s structural semiotics, the research focuses on the dyadic relationship between signifier (lyrics) and signified (concept) to uncover latent spiritual meanings. Data were collected through close reading and purposive sampling of key verses, then analyzed using syntagmatic and paradigmatic dimensions. The findings reveal that the lyrics construct a coherent system of signs representing Islamic eschatology specifically the concept of Barzakh and the afterlife phrased not through explicit religious jargon but through metaphors of nature (sunflowers) and eternal longing. The song reframes death not as a frightening end, but as a continuity of love. The study concludes that this work transcends mere entertainment, serving as a new theological medium for Gen Z. It offers a non-dogmatic approach to understanding mortality and Rida (acceptance), proving that digital pop culture can effectively bridge the gap between rigid orthodoxy and the spiritual needs of contemporary Muslim youth.
