<![CDATA[AbstrakSebagai salah satu sarana transportasi yang penting dan dibutuhkan masyarakat keberadaan Bandar Udara menjadi salah satu kunci kemajuan suatu wilayah. Sebagai sarana yang nantinya akan menjadi tempat berkumpulnya banyak orang dari berbagai wilayah dan tujuan, Bandar udara menjadi peluang pertumbuhan ekonomi yang besar. Kegiatan pembangunan pasti menimbulkan dampak sebagai akibat dari pembangunan Bandar Udara. Keberadaan bandara memberikan pengaruh yang besar terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi dan laju pertumbuhan wilayah yang relatif lebih cepat. Dampak yang paling terlihat adalah dampak sosial dan ekonomi. Pada penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Jumlah responden yang diwawancarai sejumlah 8 responden. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga tahapan data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing/verifying. Hasil yang dikumpulkan menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan pembangunan Bandar Udara Internasional Yogyakarta (YIA) tidak berdampak terlalu besar terhadap kehidupan sosial dan ekonomi kepala keluarga di Desa Glagah yang dapat dilihat dari kehidupan sosial kepala keluarga yang tidak mengalami perubahan yang signifikan dibidang sosial dan ekonomi sebelum dan sesudah adanya pembangunan Bandar Udara Internasional Yogyakarta (YIA).Kata Kunci: Pembangunan, Dampak Sosial, Dampak Ekonomi AbstractAs one of the important means of transportation and needed by the community, the existence of an airport is one of the keys to the progress of a region. As a facility that will later become a gathering place for many people from various regions and destinations, the airport is a great opportunity for economic growth. Development activities must have an impact as a result of airport construction. The existence of the airport has a great influence on economic growth and the regional growth rate is relatively faster. The most visible impacts are social and economic impacts. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative approach with the case study method. The number of respondents who were interviewed were 8 respondents. The data analysis technique in this study consisted of three stages of data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing/verifying. The results collected indicate that the existence of the construction of Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA) does not have too big an impact on the social and economic life of the head of the family in Glagah Village which can be seen from the social life of the head of the family which has not experienced significant changes in the social and economic fields before and after the existence of the construction of Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA).Keywords: Development, Social Impact, Economic Impact]]>
