<![CDATA[AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana dampak pemilihan kepala desa terhadap eksistensi nilai budaya basanohi. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana realitas pelaksanaan pemilihan kepala desa sehingga berdampak pada eksistensi nilai budaya basanohi, dan faktor penghambat dan penunjang yang di wujudkan dalam pemilihan kepala desa yang berdampak pada eksistensi nilai budaya basanohi, serta bagaimana upaya dan usahan yang dilakukan tokoh adat dan tokoh masyarakat dalam mempertahankan eksistensi budaya basanohi.Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pelaksanaan pemilihan kepala desa membawa dampak cukup besar terhadap budaya basanohi masyarakat desa waiboga,dan sangat merugikan masyarakat, karna perpedaan pilihan dalam pemilihan kepala desa masi menjadi alasan hilangya persatuan,kesatuan dan kebersamaan masyarakat desa,hal ini menunjukan bahwa masyarakat belum menyadari pentingnya budaya basanohi dalam kehidupan masyarakat desa waiboga. Selain itu upaya dan usaha yang dilakukan oleh tokoh masyarakat dan tokoh adat dalam mempertahankan eksistensi budaya basanohi terhadap masyarakat desa waiboga masi di perlukan agar pada pemilihan kepala desa kedepannya tidak ada lagi permasalahan yang muncul akibat dampak dari pemilihan kepala desa di desa waiboga.Kata Kunci: Dampak pemilihan, Kepala desa, Basanohi. AbstractThis study aims to describe how the impact of village head elections on the existence of basanohi cultural values. This study uses descriptive qualitative research which aims to find out how the reality of the implementation of the village head election has an impact on the existence of the Basanohi cultural values, and the inhibiting and supporting factors embodied in the village head election that has an impact on the existence of the Basanohi cultural values, as well as how the efforts and efforts made carried out by traditional leaders and community leaders in maintaining the existence of the Basanohi culture. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the village head election has a considerable impact on the Basanohi culture of the Waiboga village community, and is very detrimental to the community, because the difference in choice in the election of village heads is still the reason for the loss of unity, unity and togetherness of the village community, this shows that the community has not realize the importance of the Basanohi culture in the life of the Waiboga village community.
