<![CDATA[AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Crossword Puzzle (Teka-teki Silang) dengan Topical Review (Tinjauan Topik) dalam pembelajaran Biologi pada materi Pertumbuhan dan Perkembangan Manusia. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas VIII-1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII-2 sebagai kelas kontrol yang diambil secara acak kelas. Instrumen yang digunakan sebagai alat pengumpul data berupa tes objektif untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Crossword Puzzle dan Topical Review. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa: hasil belajar menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan kemampuan yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen I dengan kelas eksperimen II. Pada kelas eksperimen I yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Crossword Puzzle rata-rata pre-test nya () dan rata-rata post-test nya (). Adapun hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen II yang menggunakan model Topical Review rata-rata pre-test nya () dan rata-rata post- test nya (). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Crossword Puzzle dengan Topical Review pada konsep Pertumbuhan dan Perkembangan Manusia.Kata Kunci : Crossword Puzzle, Topical Review, Pertumbuhan dan Perkembangan, Hasil Belajar AbstractThe purpose of this study is to find out the difference in learning outcomes of class VIII students who use crossword puzzle learning models with Topical Review in Biology learning on human growth and development materials. The samples in the study were class VIII-1 as an experimental class and class VIII-2 as a randomized control class. The instrument is used as a data collection tool in the form of objective tests to find out the difference in results using the Crossword Puzzle and Topical Review learning models. Based on the results of the data analysis showed that: the learning results showed no significant difference in ability between the experimental class I and the experiment class II. In the first experimental class using the Crossword Puzzle learning model the average pre-test (X̅ = 43.29) and its post-test average (X ̅ = 73.71). The results of learning in the second experimental class using the Topical Review model averaged its pre-test (X ̅= 38.71) and its post-test average (X ̅=70.29).
