Background: In the medical world, drugs are often used as medicine in medication and science development. There is a connection between drug abuse and oral health problems. Oral health status significantly affects one’s life quality. Research results in several countries have shown a poor life quality among drug abusers. In Indonesia, there has never been any research conducted on life quality overview in connection with dental and oral health among drug abusers, by using OHRQoL instrument, especially the ‘Oral Impact on Daily Performance’. Objective: The purpose of this research is to create an overview of the quality of life in relation to drug abusers dental and oral health. Methods:This research is descriptive observational type, which uses the Cross sectional approach and total sampling method. Respondents are recipients of metadon therapy in Grogol Petamburan Municipality Health Center. Data gathering was conducted by obtaining questionnaires which were immediately completed by respondents. Results: There were 49 respondents in this research. Drug addicts often experience difficulty in chewing (32.7%), speech disorders (26.5%), absence of pain in oral cavity (36.7%), sleep disorders as a result of dental and oral health issues (32.7%), infrequent pain prior to sleep (36.7%), embarrassment due to dental and oral issues (30.6%), dental and oral problems-induced irritability (36.7%). Conclusions: As an overall conclusion, drug abusers experience poor life quality in relation to dental and oral heatlh
