Abstract

AbstrakIndonesia yang berpenduduk lebih kurang 215 juta yang tersebar di lebih dari 10.000 pulau membutuhkan kemudahan sistem pendidikan yang dapat melayani kebutuhan di atas, masalah paling serius adalah belum tersedianya  cukup dana untuk mengelola sektor tersebut, anggaran pemerintah yang tersedia hanya 5-7%, akibatnya rasio perbandingan anatar guru dan siswa tidak seimbang. akibat rendahnya ratio perbandingan anatara guru dan siswa menyebabkan hampir seluruh waktu guru digunakan untuk mengajar . Internet merupakan salah satu perangkat teknologi informasi yang memberi banyak kemudahan dalam melakukan aktivitas belajar mengajar. Selama internet digunakan untuk administrasi perpustakaan ( information ceter) pusat-ppusat komunikasi dan sebagainya AbstractIndonesia the country with 215 milion people and more than 10.000 island needs a suitable educational system to handle it. The most serious problem is the unavailability of enough budget for this sector, which is only 55-75 of the national developmental budget. Consequently, the ratio of student-teacjer is nor proportional. Imagine that the teacher should teach six days a week. There is no time left to increase quality and evaluate teaching materials. Internet is one of information technology products which could be used efficiently to facilitate activities. So far internet has been used in administration library
