Abstract

Social isolation is interpersonal relation disorders that caused by personal inflexibility, until maladaptive behavior and disturb the function of individual in relation. It isthe third largest mental disorder diagnosis in the hospital. This condition describe that it requirestherapiesfor decreasing cases. One of them is Socialization Activity in Group Therapy that facilitates clients doing socialization in group. The influence of Socialization Activity in Group Therapy to socialization capability in clients with social isolation was measured in this study. The method of it used experimental study with pretest and post-test one group design. Samples selected using purposive sampling(32 samples). In pretest, socialization capabilities of clients were assessed using GAT observation sheet, after that the intervention of Socialization Activity in Group Therapy was given every week until seven week for seven steps. At post-test, Socialization Activity in Group Therapy was evaluated using same tool in pretest. The result showed that the mean of socialization capabilities at pre-test was 2.73 and 6.70 at post-test, there was a statistically high significant difference with paired t-test at p 0,001 or 00,05 score.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran online. Metode penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif, digunakan untuk menggambarkan atau menganalisis suatu hasil penelitian tetapi tidak digunakan untuk membuat kesimpulan yang lebih luas. Penelitian ini melibatkan 247 responden yang dipilih secara sistematik random sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata siswa memiliki skor persepsi sebesar 2,91 atau mendekati skor 3 yang artinya siswa berada pada kategori ragu-ragu dalam mengikuti pembelajaran online. Sebanyak 54,3% mahasiswa memiliki persepsi positif dalam hal pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran saat online, kesamaan materi perkuliahan antara online dan offline, sarana prasarana yang baik dari prodi, kemudahan akses internet, dan komitmen mengikuti perkuliahan online menurut Jadwal. Sebagian besar mahasiswa menilai bahwa pembelajaran online membutuhkan biaya yang mahal untuk kebutuhan kuota atau internet setiap bulannya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, siswa masih ragu untuk menerapkan pembelajaran online menggunakan e-learning.

Abstract

Background: Aging is an economic and social challenge in the modern era that often occurs at this stage is the incidence of falling which is one of the geriatric giants because it often results in injury. One of the efforts to prevent falls is through the application of Otago exercises. Purpose: This study describes the analysis of nursing care with the application of Otago Exercise in the elderly at risk of falling used a qualitative case study approach. Results: This study involved three elderly with a risk of falling as samples, who are assessed using the Berg Balance Score instrument. The elderly were given the intervention of applying Otago exercise as much as six exercises for three consecutive weeks. The results of the implementation describe the outcome criteria in the form of increasing the ability to walk, move places, and maintain a stable standing position and sitting position. Evaluation of the berg balance score measurement showed that their experienced an increase in balance score but were still in the same fall risk category. Conclusion: Based on this study, elderly can apply Otago exercise on an ongoing basis with their families to maintain the quality of their health, especially preventing falls.

Abstract

Flash flood disaster is a natural disaster that can have a negative impact on victims. The psychological impact caused after the disaster is in the form of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) which shows several symptoms in the form of Re-experiencing, Avoidance, and Hyper arousal. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the description of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in the victims of the flash flood disaster one year after the incident. The method used in this study is descriptive research with a survey approach. The sample technique used in this study is a purposive technique. Data analysis used univariate analysis to determine the characteristics of the respondents which included age, occupation, gender, education, and description of PTSD symptoms. This study involved 48 people as respondents who showed the characteristics of 70% meeting the PTSD diagnostic criteria after the flash flood that hit their village two years ago. The results of this study can be used as a reference or basis for preparing interventions to improve mental health in communities especially those experiencing disasters.

Abstract

Background: Mental health is when a person feels healthy and happy, is able to face life's challenges and accept others as he wishes, and has a positive attitude towards himself and towards others. So it requires a more serious handling. One of the mental disorders is schizophrenia. In clients with mental disorders, one of the symptoms that is often found is hallucinations. Hallucinations are synonymous with schizophrenia. All clients with schizophrenia experience hallucinations.Method : The method used in this case study is a narrative method which includes the implementation of nursing care for both patients with auditory hallucinations, the analysis is continued with discussion and results to get an overview between theory and practice of nursing care for both respondents.Results: After nursing actions were carried out for four meetings which were carried out to two respondents to control the hallucinations experienced by patients. At client evaluation Mr. E Mr. M strategies one through four can be carried out with an evaluation the client can re-do strategies one through four.Conclusion: Patients who experience auditory hallucination sensory perception disorders can be given nursing care by implementing strategies 1 to 4 as well as family support to support the patient's recovery.Keywords : mental disorders, audiotory hallucinations, nursing care
