Abstract

Laptop is a product needed by the community in various fields, either education or business in general. The problem arises when someone wants to buy a laptop. what laptop type is appropriate for the person and how to determine the recommendations will be given. Decision support system is capable of providing a solution to the problem of selecting a laptop. With Tahani model Fuzzy Database, decision support system is capable of processing unstructured data and assisting in the decisions required in this study. This research resulted in the information in the form of a laptop recommendation in accordance with the criteria desired by the user. Using a blackbox testing and field trials with a questionnaire, systems and applications in this research could work well and provide benefits to users. Abstract

File compression is one of important aspect in the development of information technology. The demands of providing information in a short time with large number and size of files makes compression techniques very important. There are a lot of algorithms that have been developed for the compression of files, including: LZW algorithm and Huffman Algorithm. This study discusses the comparative analysis between the two algorithms are against compressed image file format BMP and PNG. Analysis of this study aims to provide knowledge about what is the best algorithm between both of the algorithm to compress the image file format BMP and PNG. This analysis is comparing the ratio and the estimated time of each algorithm for image file format BMP and PNG. The author uses the Java programming language to implement both LZW and Huffman algorithm, and then analyze the process and results of compression on the file format BMP and PNG. After testing and analysis of experiments the compression process, it is concluded that the compression process BMP and PNG file format, Huffman algorithm can compress files faster than LZW algorithm, but the LZW algorithm can produce better compression ratio than Huffman algorithm.

Abstract

NU Coin is a program to collect and allocate community financial donations to those in need. Within the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) structure, the NU Amil Zakat Infaq and Alms Institution (LAZISNU) is the most appropriate institution to manage NU coins from the central level to the branch (village). Lazisu MWC Krejengan faces serious obstacles in managing and reporting NU Coins, which are still done manually. Each branch reports its infaq contribution on a sheet of paper, and then the data is submitted to LAZISNU MWC Krejengan to be input one by one via Microsoft Excel. The archiving process is also manual, causing less efficiency in operations. In an effort to overcome this problem, a web-based NU Coin management information system was designed using a Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach. This system was then tested using the black box testing method. Test results show good quality with an average percentage of 84.8% and the category "very good." The implementation of this system makes it easier for users, including admins, to input NU Coin data. Notifications via WhatsApp are also provided to all users. This system makes it easier to search for information related to NU Coins for LAZISNU MWC Krejengan administrators and branches, increasing efficiency and data accessibility. In conclusion, this system is a suitable solution for optimizing NU Coin management
