Abstract

An Agrarian Country is an Indonesian country so it is reasonable if the main priority in the national agenda is centered on agriculture. In addition, the growth of population and industry is increasing. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the canals whose working function is decreasing. This Kauman Irrigation Area irrigates an area of 250 Ha of paddy fields. The source of water in the Kauman Irrigation District comes from the Batang river. Batang Lansat Kadap Irrigation Area is ± 45 km from Lubuk Sikaping city center. In Irrigation Network Planning, a design analysis must be done that includes rainfall analysis, discharge calculation, and channel dimensions. So that the irrigation system can be interpreted as an effort to provide maximum water supply. The main discharge of the planned channel is 3.24 m3/d, and the Max Debit is 2.44. The top dimension is 0.8, the bottom width is 0.6 and the height is 0.8. It can hold water when there is high rainfall. By improving the irrigation canals and providing enough water according to the needs, in planning, the dimensions of the canals are obtained through the process of rainfall by using the harpes method and the gumbel method. Keywords: food self-sufficiency, discharge, channel dimensions

Abstract

Jalan Padang Tujuh Km 8 Kabupaten Pasaman Barat memiliki angka kecelakaan tinggi, yang merupakan daerah yang cukup potensial terhadap pergerakan arus lalu lintas karena merupakan jalan penghubung antara Kabupaten Pasaman Barat Dengan Kabupaten Pasaman timur, di sepanjang jalan juga terdapat perkantoran, sekolah, pasar, pertokoan, dan pemukiman penduduk. Analisis ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penyebab yang mempengaruhi terjadinya kecelakaan lalu lintas. Data primer dilakukan survei lapangan seperti pengamatan kerusakan pada jalan, pengamatan kelengkapan rambu-rambu lalu lintas. Data sekunder yang diperlukan adalah data kejadian kecelakaan lalu lintas pada tahun 2017 sampai 2021. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan menggolongkan kecelakaan berdasarkan faktor-faktor penyebab kecelakaan lalu lintas. Faktor utama terjadinya kecelakaan lalu lintas di Padang Tujuh Km 8 kabupaten Pasaman Barat adalah faktor manusia sebesar 50%, jumlah kecelakaan terbesar terjadi pada pukul 06:00 sampai 18:00 sebanyak 55% yang merupakan jam sibuk dan pelaku kecelakaan di dominasi oleh laki-laki sebanyak 81%. Upaya-upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengurangi angka kecelakaan pada jalan Padang Tujuh Km 8 Kabupaten Pasaman Barat yaitu : memberikan Pendidikan lalu lintas dan sanksi yang tegas pada pengguna jalan yang melanggar peraturan berlalu lintas dan pemasangan rambu lalu lintas harus sesuai dengan Keputusan Menteri Perhubungan Nomor 61 1993 tentang Rambu Lalu Lintas.Kata kunci : Jalan Padang Tujuh Km 8 Kabupaten Pasaman Barat, karakteristik kecelakan, korban.

Abstract

PERUMDA Tirta Jam Gadang in the city of Bukittinggi as one of the providers of clean water is obliged to meet the clean water needs of the community by ensuring the availability of water in the long term is fulfilled. For this reason, it is necessary to analyze the current and future needs for clean water by projecting the number of residents, the number of direct connections (SL), the amount of water loss and analyzing the water discharge used by PERUMDA Tirta Jam Gadang and projecting an estimate of water availability up to 2026 with using linear regression method. Based on the results of the analysis, the total clean water needs of PERUMDA Tirta Jam Gadang until 2026 are 153.67 lt/s or an increase of 2.49% from the 2021 data which amounted to 141.59 lt/s in line with the increasing urban population growth. Bukittinggi with the number of direct connections (SL) in 2026 of 18,701 SL or an increase of 4.88% from the data in 2021 which amounted to 14,776 SL, the used water discharge of PERUMDA Tirta Jam Gadang until 2026 amounted to 240.60 lt/s or an increase of 1.85% from the used discharge data in 2021 which amounted to 233.97 lt/s, the estimated water loss until 2026 amounted to 86.23 lt/s or an increase of 2.62% from the 2021 data which is only 72.52 lt/s. With the total availability of water in 2026 which amounted to 154.37 lt/s, from the water balance it can be concluded that the availability of clean water is a surplus of 0.70 lt/s or the availability of water is still sufficient for clean water needs until 2026. Keywords: Water demand, Water availability, Water loss, Water balance, Linear  regression

Abstract

Irrigation is the provision, regulation and distribution of water from available water sources to agricultural areas for crop needs. Irrigation is very important in the fulfillment and improvement of national food, such as the irrigation channel D.I Cingkariang Banda Patah Nagari Padang Lua. The tertiary channel of the Banda Patah Nagari Padang Lua irrigation network irrigates a rice field area of ± 100 ha. The water needs for Banda Patah's agricultural land cannot be met properly. In the Irrigation Network Planning, design analysis must be carried out which includes analysis of rainfall, calculation of discharge, and channel dimensions. The main objective of the evaluation of the Banda Patah tertiary channel is to determine the need and adequacy of water in the Banda Patah agricultural area. By upgrading the network, water needs can be provided adequately according to needs. In planning the channel dimensions obtained through the rainfall process using the Haspers method and the Gumbel method. The results of calculations from the tertiary channel dimensions in the field obtained a discharge of 1.03 m³/s and the results of the planned dimensions obtained a discharge of 5.42 m^3/s. Based on the evaluation, the dimensions of the tertiary channel of the existing Banda Patah irrigation network cannot accommodate the maximum discharge, and the dimensions of the planned channel can accommodate water at the maximum discharge.Keywords : Discharge, channel dimensions, rainfall, gumbel, haspers, tertiary channel
