Abstract

Abstract. Since the Covid-19 pandemic, the learning process has been carried out using a distance learning system. According to several survey results on teachers who teach with a distance learning system, it shows the occurrence of burnout symptoms in teachers who do distance learning. Burnout is a syndrome of emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and a decreased sense of achievement and personal accomplishment. This study aims to get an overview of burnout for teachers who carry out distance learning in the city of Bandung, the measurements are carried out using the MBI-ES (Maslach Burnou Inventory-Education Survey) measuring instrument which has been adapted by Aulia Hanifah (2019) Sample: 266 Teachers who do PJJ in Bandung City. Based on the results of the study showed that 82% of subjects experienced high burnout, with the highest aspect being low personal accomplishment, this study showed that a number of 216 respondents (82%) experienced high burnout, based on demographics, it showed that respondents were female, respondents were younger. (17-25 years), S1 education level, non-civil servant status, and teaching at SMP/Tsanawiyyah/equivalent levels show a high level of burnout. Abstrak. Sejak terjadinya pandemi covid-19 proses pembelajaran dilakukan dengan sistem pembelajaran jarak jauh. Menurut beberapa hasil survey pada guru yang mengajar dengan sistem pembelajaran jarak jauh menunjukan terjadinnya gejala-gejala burnout pada guru yang melakukan pembelajaran jarak jauh. Burnout merupakan sebuah sindrom kelelahan secara emosi, depersonalisasi, dan turun nya rasa pencapaian prestasi dan pribadi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendapatkan gambaran burnout pada guru yang melaksankan pembelajaran jarak jauh di Kota Bandung, pengukuran dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat ukur MBI-ES (Maslach Burnou Inventory-Education Survey) yang telah diadaprtasi oleh Aulia Hanifah (2019) Sampel: 266 Guru yang melakukan PJJ di Kota Bandung. Berdasarakan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 82% subjek mengalami burnout yang tinggi, dengan aspek tertinggi adalah low personal accomplishment, penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa sejumlah 216 reponden (82%) mengalami burnout yang tinggi, berdasarkan demografi menunjukan bahwa responden berjenis kelamin wanita, responden berusia lebih muda (17-25 tahun), jenjang pendidikan S1, status kepegawayan non PNS, dan mengajar di tempat SMP/Tsanawiyyah/sederajat mnunjukang tingkat burnout yang tinggi.

Abstract

Abstract. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, employees have become working from home or WFH, working from home has created a separate burden for employees, which has an impact on employee happiness. According to the survey results during WFH, the level of employee happiness decreased significantly. The concept of happiness has the same meaning as the concept of well-being. Well-being at work is a feeling of satisfaction felt by employees as a whole related to their work. Workplace well-being is influenced by the balance between job demand and job resources. Efforts made by employees in balancing the demands of work and work resources are called job crafting. This study aims to determine the effect of job crafting on employee welfare in the city of Bandung. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that job crafting has a major effect on work welfare for employees in the city of Bandung. To test this research, this study uses a quantitative approach with multiple regression analysis techniques. The population in this study were employees in the city of Bandung, amounting to 387 people. The researcher uses the Workplace well-being Index from Page which has been modified by Maulidina (2020) and the Job crafting Scale from Tims, Bakker and Derk which has been translated into Indonesian by Sutisna (2020). The population in this study amounted to 387 employees. The results of this study indicate that job crafting has a large and significant effect of 56.1%. The dimensions that have a big and significant impact are only the dimensions of increasing structural work resources and decreasing job demands that are hampering. Abstrak. Sejak terjadinya pandemi covid-19 karyawan menjadi bekerja dari rumah atau WFH, bekerja dari rumah menimbulkan beban tersendiri bagi karyawan, sehingga berdampak pada kebahagiaan karyawan. Menurut hasil survey pada saat WFH, tingkat kebahagiaan karyawan menurun signifikan. Konsep kebahagiaan memiliki arti yang sama deng konsep kesejahteraan. Kesejahteraan di tepat kerja atau workplace well-being merupakan perasaan puas yang dirasakan karyawan secara keseluruhan terkait pekerjaannya. Workplace well-being dipengaruhi oleh adanya keseimbangan antara job demand dan job resources. Upaya yang dilakukan karyawan dalam menyeimbangkan job demand dan job resources disebut job crafting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh job crafting terhadap workplace well-being pada karyawan di Kota Bandung. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah job crafting memiliki pengaruh yang besar terhadap workplace well-being pada karyawan di Kota Bandung. Untuk menguji penelitian ini, Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis regresi berganda. Populasi penelitian ini adalah karyawan di Kota Bandung yang berjulmah 387 orang. Peneliti menggunakan alat ukur Workplace well-being Index dari Page, yang telah dimodifikasi oleh Maulidina (2020) dan Job crafting Scale dari Tims, Bakker dan Derk, yang telah dialih bahasakan kedalam bahasa Indonesia oleh Sutisna (2020). Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebesar 387 karyawan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan job crafting memberikan pengaruh yang besar dan signifikan sebesar 56,1%. Dimensi yang memberikan pengaruh yang besar dan signifikan hanyalah dimensi increasing structural job resources dan decreasing hindering job demand.

Abstract

Abstract. COVID-19 affects all sectors, including the banking sector. In responding to COVID-19, banks have made several new policies to stay afloat in the face of COVID-19 conditions. Bank Jawa Barat dan Banten (BJB) is the only Regional Development Banks (BPD) that can increase assets, profits and credit distribution. Moreover, Bank Jawa Barat dan Banten is dominated by female employees. In achieving goals, there is a conflict between roles at work and roles in the family. This conflict can lead to work-family conflict. The conflict can cause stress that will affect their psychological well-being. This study aims to examine the relationship between work-family conflict and subjective well-being of bank employees in Bank Jawa Barat and Banten (BJB) at Bandung. This study involved 161 female bank employees in Bank Jawa Barat dan Banten (BJB) in the consumer credit division who were married and had children at Bandung. The measuring instrument using the work-family conflict scale from Carlson, Kacmar, & William (2000), meanwhile the subjective well-being using the Scale of Positive and Negative Experience (SPANE) compiled by Ed Diener (2009) and The Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS) compiled by Diener, Emmons, Larsen & Griffin (1985). The method used the correlational with the calculation of the Pearson Rank correlation coefficient test. The results showed a correlation value of -0.632 which indicates that there is a negative correlation between work-family conflict and subjective well-being (affective component) and shows a correlation value of -0.362 which indicates that there is a negative correlation between work-family conflict and subjective well-being (cognitive component). Abstrak. COVID-19 berpengaruh pada segala sektor, termasuk sektor perbankan. Dalam menyikapi COVID-19, perbankan membuat beberapa kebijakan baru agar tetap bertahan dalam menghadapi kondisi COVID-19. Bank Jawa Barat dan Banten merupakan satu-satunya Bank Pembangunan Daerah (BPD) yang dapat meningkatkan aset, laba dan penyaluran kredit selain itu Bank Jawa Barat dan Banten didominisasi oleh karyawan perempuan. Dalam mencapai tuntutan tugasnya terdapat konflik antar peran, antara peran di pekerjaan dengan peran di keluarga. Konflik tersebut dapat mengakibatkan work-family conflict dan menimbulkan stres, stres yang dirasakan karyawan akan mempengaruhi kesejahteraan subjektifnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan work-family conflict dengan subjective well-being karyawan bank Jawa Barat dan Banten divisi kredit konsumer Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini melibatkan 161 karyawan perempuan bank Jawa Barat dan Banten divisi kredit konsumer Kota Bandung yang sudah menikah dan memiliki anak. Alat ukur yang digunakan yaitu work-family conflict scale dari Carlson, Kacmar, & William (2000) dan alat ukur subjective well-being dengan menggunakan Scale of Positive and Negative Experience (SPANE) yang di susun oleh Ed Diener (2009) dan The Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS) disusun oleh Diener, Emmons, Larsen & Griffin (1985). Metode yang digunakan yaitu korelasional dengan perhitungan statistik uji koefisien korelasi Rank Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai korelasi -0.632 yang menunjukan bahwa terdapat korelasi negatif antara work-family conflict dengan subjective well-being (komponen afektif) dan menunjukan nilai korelasi -0.362 yang menunjukan bahwa terdapat korelasi negatif antara work-family conflict dengan subjective well-being (komponen kognitif).

Abstract

Abstract. The results of research on social support show that social support has many benefits in overcoming various problems. One of the benefits of social support is to help overcome loneliness, where loneliness according to Russell (1996) is "a social relationship that does not match what is desired, including feelings of anxiety, distress, and the perception of a lack of social relationships in a person". This research is a quantitative research that aims to see the influence of social support on loneliness. The respondents totaled 157 first-year students who come from outside the island of Java in the city of Bandung. Samples were selected by accidental sampling technique. Loneliness was measured using a loneliness scale version 3 (UCLAversion 3) measuring instrument. Social Support is measured by a questionnaire that refers to aspects of Sarafino theory (2011). The social support scale has the reliability value of the coefficient alpha (a) = 0.938 and the loneliness scale has the reliability value of the coefficient alpha (a) = 0.822. Based on the, it was found that there was a negative influence of social support on loneliness in students who come from outside the island of Java. The effective contribution given by the social support variable to loneliness in students who come from outside the island of Java was 2.5% and the remaining 97.5% was influenced by other factors that were not studied in this study. Abstrak. Hasil- hasil penelitian mengenai social support menujukkan bahwa social support memiliki banyak manfaat dalam mengatasi berbagai permasalahan. Salah satu manfaat dari social support yaitu untuk membantu mengatasi loneliness, dimana loneliness menurut Russell (1996) merupakan “hubungan sosial yang tidak, sesuai dari apa yang diinginkan, termasuk perasaan gelisah, tertekan, dan persepsi kurangnya hubungan sosial pada diri seseorang”. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh social support terhadap loneliness. Responden berjumlah 157 mahasiswa rantau tahun pertama di Kota Bandung. Sampel dipilih dengan Teknik Accidental Sampling. Loneliness diukur menggunakan alat ukur loneliness scale version 3 (UCLAversion 3). Social Support diukur dengan kuesioner yang mengacu pada aspek teori Sarafino (2011). Skala social support memiliki nilai reliabilitas koefisien alpha (a) = 0.938 dan skala loneliness memiliki nilai reliabilitas koefisien alpha (a) = 0.822. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa ada pengaruh negatif dari social support terhadap loneliness pada mahasiswa rantau. Artinya semakin tinggi social support yang diperoleh mahasiswa rantau, maka loneliness akan semakin rendah dan begitu juga sebaliknya. Sumbangan efektif yang diberikan variabel social support terhadap loneliness pada mahasiswa rantau adalah sebesar 2,5% dan sisanya yaitu 97,5% dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.
