Abstract

The aim of this research are: 1) to find some factors of the characteristics of entrepreneurs that the most dominant influence on entrepreneurial success of USSgraduates and 2) to give recomendation as strongestcharacteristics of entrepreneurs USS graduates. This research approach use quantitative methods with quasi-experimental especially correlational research. The samples research consisted of USS graduates has become successful entrepreneur. The research sample were 70 graduates of the total population taken by purposive sampling technique. The Design questionnaire used to collecting data, and data analysis technique was Factor Analysis that include: 1) Correlation Indicator: Kaiser-Meyer Olkin (KMO),2) Extraction Factor: Principal Components Analysis, and 3) Factor Rotation: Varimax Method. The results of this study are as follows: 1) some factors of the characteristics of entrepreneurs that influence on entrepreneurial success of USS graduates, namely: (1)have a clear vision and goals, (2) self-confidence, (3) optimism, (4) independent, (5) creative and innovative, (6) ambitious and energetic, (7) responsible, (8) originality, (9)future-oriented, (10) task-oriented and results, (11) has the soul of a leader, (12) dare to take risks, (13) honest, (14) jaunty and communicate, and (15) good at taking advantage of opportunities, 2) some factors of the characteristics of entrepreneurs that the most dominant influence on entrepreneurial success of USS graduates are: (1) have a clear vision, Mision and goals, (2) self-confidence and (3) has the soul of a leader.

Abstract

In the development of Focus Group Discusion (FGD) ecotourism P. Pramuka, at Kepulauan Seribu District shows the difference of public expectation, the facilities provided by the Government and the desire of tourists as measured on the basis of benefts and interests of all stakeholders. Focus Group Discussion (FGD) attempts to capture the various proposals of the participants in the discussion, but often to analyze the root of the problem and the solution does not include the identifcation of needs in analyzing. As a result the discussion becomes unfocused and becomes diffcult to fnd the root of the problem, and ultimately there is no fundamental solution. To trace the problem and able to give a realistic suggestion can be used as a solution to do the method of Problem Root Analysis and Solution (MAAMS) which presents a way of thinking with supported flow charts to get the best solution. The application of the MAAMS, guides researchers in inductive or deductive, qualitative and quantitative thinking, in greater depth and comprehensiveness, facilitating multi-disciplinary cooperation. The fnal result of this research is able to give consensus solution to synergize each other to catch the opportunity by welcoming the coming of ekowisatawan which keep increasing and fnally able to improve prosperity of society around P Pramuka, Kepulauan Seribu District

Abstract

Songket is a special cloth of Palembang which is much in demand by the people both domestic and foreign. “Songket kito” is one of the businesses that produce a unique songket product Palembang. Songket from Palembang gets the title “Queen of All Fabrics” because it is one type of quality woven fabric because it is woven with gold and silver threads so that the songket cloth is quite expensive selling price. Marketing that only focuses on southern sumatera area gives the impact of songket weaving less developed. Along with the development of information and communication technology can be utilized to design marketing strategy to increase sales of products through cyberspace or often called E-commerce. One of them by designing a website-based marketing strategy. The results of sales and marketing of products through the website has provided many fnancial advantages as well as the high buyers and breadth of product marketing area and can be stated the application of E-commerce is not familiar with space and time, can be done anytime and anywhere
