Abstract

The financial behavior of Gen Z nowadays will have impact to the future of Indonesia as a nation. According to data provided by BPS (2020), in the year 2030 Indonesia will face demography bonus, where the composition of population will be dominated by Gen Y (27.94%) and Gen Z (25.87%). Therefore, Gen Z must be prepared to be able to contribute to further improving Indonesia economics. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide training to Gen Z regarding Islamic financial planning and management, so that Gen Z can achieve financial freedom in the future activity. Community service was held on 30 Jun 2022 at SMK Islam Malahayati, with 75 students as participants. The method used in this training is participatory. The material is delivered through lectures, followed by the practice of financial planning and financial management, as well as discussions and questions and answers from participants. The participants were enthusiastic and listened to the material well. It could be seen from the results of the answers to the questions given through the questionnaire. Not only that, the participants also gave positive feedback on this activity.

Abstract

Peran TIK (Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi) sangat dibutuhkan bagi para siswa sebagai bekal bagi mereka dalam menghadapi perubahan dan tuntutan zaman di era Revolusi Industri 4.0,. Mengoperasikan komputer merupakan bagian ketrampilan hard skill, siswa perlu memiliki keterampilan dalam mengoperasikan program yang terdapat di Windows dan program yang paling sering digunakan yaitu Microsoft Excel. Microsoft Excel umumnya dikenal sebagai software pengolah angka atau bisa dikatakan sebagai program aplikasi lembar yang berfungsi mengolah data secara otomatis seperti perhitungan, rumus, pemakaian fungsi, tabel, pembuatan grafik dan manajemen data untuk menciptakan data informasi digunakan dalam rangka pengambilan keputusan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi permasalahan mitra yang diidentifikasi meliputi a) Kurang maksimalnya pemanfaatan lab komputer, khususnya aplikasi Microsoft Excel di SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Depok; b) Perlu peningkatan kemampuan dan pengetahuan siswa SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Depok terhadap optimalisasi penggunaan aplikasi Microsoft Excel. Adapun solusi yang ditawarkan ialah memberi pelatihan pengenalan aplikasi Microsoft Excel untuk penyusunan laporan keuangan. Target luaran pengabdian ini berupa jasa pelatihan berupa informasi bagi siswa tentang pengolahan data, perhitungan dan manajemen data dengan menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft Excel. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan yang digunakan adalah metode pelatihan, diskusi, dan tanya jawab secara daring/online. Hasil dari pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu memberikan pemahaman tentang pemanfaatan aplikasi Microsoft Excel sebagai penyusunan laporan keuangan dan meningkatkan keterampilan hard skill siswa SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Depok.
