Abstract

Arabic educational games proven to have the advantages of making learning more entertaining also enhancing students' interest and excitement for learning Arabic. In light of these benefits, studies suggest that Arabic language teachers should receive training in the design, planning, implementation, and evaluation of educational games in order to enrich learning and teaching experiences, activate learner's role, and benefit from educational games to achieve targeted direct knowledges. However, there is a paucity of research on teaching prospective Arabic teachers to build Arabic instructional games, particularly in the entrepreneurial context. Using qualitative methods, this study aims to indicate the project-based learning approach utilized to create Arabic instructional games as part of Arabiyah lil Athfal Entrepreneurship course in State Islamic University (IAIN) of Kediri, East Java, Indonesia. It is found that project-based learning in Arabiyah Lil Athfal's class satisfied several defined criteria: centrality, driving question, constructive investigations, autonomy, and realism. The project was demonstrated to be a substantial component of the course and worthy of being regarded core.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the condition of peers and how it affects the number of Qur'an memorization in class A Tahfidz For Kidz PP Qur'anan 'Arobiyya. The research method used is a qualitative research method in the form of analysis and conclusions that depend on the sharpness of research analysis. Conducted in class A Tahfidz For Kidz PP Qur'anan 'Arobiyya with a population of 13 children. As we know that every child has different abilities in memorizing abilities, but every child can improve these abilities by paying attention to situations and conditions when memorizing. Especially the conditions when interacting with peers which greatly affect the acquisition of the number of memorizing the Qur'an obtained.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi pembelajaran menggunakan teori belajar kognitif pada remaja di MTsN 1 Kota Kediri. Teori belajar kognitif meliputi kegiatan-kegiatan mental yang disadari seperti berpikir, mengetahui, memahami, dan kegiatan konsepsi mental seperti: sikap, kepercayaan, dan pengharapan, yang kemudian itu merupakan faktor yang menentukan di dalam perilaku. Dalam proses belajar mengajar diperlukan cara yang tepat untuk mendapatkan hasil belajar yang maksimal. Menurut Piaget, hasil belajar akan lebih baik apabila disesuaikan dengan tahap perkembangan kognitif peserta didik. Peserta didik hendaknya diberi kesempatan untuk melakukan eksperimen dengan obyek fisik yang ditunjang oleh interaksi dengan teman sebaya dan dibantu oleh pertanyaan tilikan dari guru. Guru hendaknya banyak memberikan rangsangan kepada peserta didik agar mau berinteraksi dengan lingkungan secara aktif, mencari dan menemukan berbagai hal dari lingkungan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif yang menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data pengisian kuesioner pada perwakilan siswa kelas VII, VIII, IX Di MTsN 1 Kota Kediri.  Hasil dari Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan kreativitas siswa dapat meningkat melalui pembelajaran menggunakan teori belajar kognitivisme di MTsN 1 Kota Kediri. Berbagai kemampuan yang dimiliki siswa-siswa tersebut dapat diklasifikasikan dalam kemampuan intelektual dan kemampuan fisik. Kemampuan intelektual, dalam hal ini kemampuan berpikir kreatif, menunjukkan hasil yang baik. Hal ini didukung beberapa faktor, diantaranya guru memberikan dukungan kepada siswa sehingga siswa lebih terpacu untuk lebih aktif. Kata kunci: Belajar, Teori Kognitif, dan siswa   Abstract:  This study aims to determine the implementation of learning using cognitive learning theory in adolescents at MTsN 1 Kota Kediri. Cognitive learning theory includes conscious mental activities such as thinking, knowing, understanding, and mental conception activities such as: attitudes, beliefs, and expectations, which then become determining factors in behavior. In the teaching and learning process, the right way is needed to get maximum learning results. According to Piaget, learning outcomes will be better if adjusted to the stage of cognitive development of students. Students should be given the opportunity to experiment with physical objects supported by interactions with peers and assisted by insightful questions from the teacher. The teacher should provide a lot of stimulation to students so that they want to actively interact with the environment, seek and find various things from the environment. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method that uses data collection techniques to fill out questionnaires for representatives of class VII, VIII, IX students at MTsN 1 Kota Kediri. The results of this study indicate that students' creative abilities can be increased through learning using cognitive learning theory at MTsN 1 Kota Kediri. Various abilities possessed by these students can be classified into intellectual abilities and physical abilities. Intellectual ability, in this case the ability to think creatively, shows good results. This is supported by several factors, including teachers providing support to students so that students are more motivated to be more active. Keywords: Learning, Cognitive Theory and students
