Abstract

Music is a feeling that can be heard through rhythm, melody, timbre with its own harmony in each chant. Music is often used as a stimulant to arouse the emotional aspects of a person. Therefore music can also help the body and mind to work together in doing a job. Students at IAIN Ponorogo in the Fine Arts Learning course will get musical stimulants with different genres to be able to feel the impact and difference. The aim is to find out the extent of the impact given by music in an effort to provide comfort in the classroom. The types of music chosen are pop, rock and instrumental genres. This study uses a mixed method in the form of a combination of methods (quantitative and qualitative). The quantitative method functions as an explanatory with technical data analysis using simple linear regression using IBM SPSS V 24 software, while data were collected through interviews and questionnaires. The results of this study are 1) Music has a significant impact when creating art, 2) Music genres that suit taste can add to the mood in activities, 3) Inner calm affects the discovery of creative ideas. Based on these results, it can be concluded that music has a significant influence on someone to be able to find comfort in creating art.

Abstract

Early childhood is a very important period to provide stimulation so that children's growth and development becomes optimal. Fine motor development is one aspect of development in children that must receive stimulation. Fine motor development is related to a child's ability to carry out activities involving small muscles that require coordination between the eyes, hands and brain as the control center. As a facilitator in the learning process the teacher must be able to choose the right strategy to achieve the learning objectives. Strategy is something that is prepared to achieve certain goals. This research uses a qualitative approach with a qualitative descriptive research type. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman concept, namely through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions from research. The results of the research found that: 1) The fine motor skills of young children at TK Muslimat NU 001 Ponorogo have developed well. 2) Strategies used by teachers in training fine motor skills in early childhood at Muslimat NU 001 Ponorogo Kindergarten 1) Introduction of colors to children carried out by teachers; 2) Teach children good and correct coloring techniques; 3) Guide, give examples and provide explanations directly in front of the child.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the musical intelligence of students in the art of karawitan at SDN 3 Krebet Ponorogo. (2) to determine the numerical literacy of students in the art of karawitan at SDN 3 Krebet Ponorogo. (3) to prove whether there is an increase in musical intelligence so that it can affect the numerical literacy of students in the art of karawitan at SDN 3 Krebet Ponorogo. Musical intelligence plays a role in understanding rhythm patterns, tones, and musical structures, which are related to numerical skills such as pattern calculations and understanding fractions. The art of karawitan, as traditional music that is rich in mathematical elements, can be a tool to improve numerical literacy. The method used is a quantitative approach using the societal correlation method and data analysis techniques. Data on musical intelligence and numerical literacy were obtained from observations, questionnaires, documentation, and the data was processed with a percentage (%). The population in this study were all 32 fourth grade students at SDN 3 Krebet Ponorogo, with purposive sampling (purposeful sampling) which is a non-probability sampling technique where researchers deliberately select individuals or groups that are considered most relevant or useful to answer research questions, the sample used in this study was 18 students. In this study, data collection used a questionnaire to determine how musical intelligence influences numerical literacy in karawitan art at SDN 3 Krebet Ponorogo which was obtained through simple linear analysis techniques. The results of the study showed that there was a significant positive influence between musical intelligence and numerical literacy. The magnitude of the influence of musical intelligence on numerical literacy is 42%. So, musical intelligence influences 42% in numerical literacy in karawitan art at SDN 3 Krebet Ponorogo and the rest is influenced by other factors not included in the study. This study contributes to the development of multiple intelligence theory, especially in the context of the relationship between musical intelligence and numerical literacy. The results of this study are expected to strengthen the theory that non-academic intelligence (such as musical) also has an impact on academic abilities (such as numeracy), as well as add to the literature on the integration of arts and mathematics in elementary education.
