Abstract

Da'wah is an activity that is universal, not limitation of space and time, it all depends on the needs and circumstances the object of Da'wah. In the perspective of contemporary, Da'wah through the mass media, especially television is still very relevant because television as an audio-visual medium, is able to capture 94% channel entry message-either message or information come to our brain through both eyes and ears. Once displayed agenda in television, normal people could remember 50% from what they see and hear. In other words, people will remember 85% from what they see and hear from television after 3 hours and 65% for the next 3 days. But to build a conventional TV are very expensive, it is necessary creativity to realize Da'wah TV reliable yet inexpensive. To achieve this, the most powerful candidate is build Da'wah TV based on streaming technology, a technology that allows broadcast TV in real-time as well as On Demand through the Internet. This paper will describe the analysis and design Da'wa TV based on streaming technology with systems development methodology Luther Version consisting of six phases; concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing and distribution.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies has transformed conventional residential environments into intelligent smart housing systems capable of enhancing energy efficiency, security, comfort, healthcare services, and environmental sustainability. However, existing studies remain fragmented, focusing on specific technologies or applications rather than providing a comprehensive understanding of the smart housing ecosystem. Therefore, this study aims to systematically review the major technologies employed in IoT-based smart housing systems, examine their contributions to residential benefits, and identify the challenges and future opportunities associated with their implementation. This research adopted a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach using the Scopus database as the primary source of literature. The review process followed a structured screening and selection procedure, resulting in the inclusion of 26 studies that met the predefined eligibility criteria. The findings indicate that Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Edge Computing, Fog Computing, Cloud Computing, Digital Twin, Smart Grid technologies, renewable energy systems, and advanced sensor infrastructures constitute the primary technological foundations of modern smart housing systems. The reviewed studies indicate that these technologies contribute to energy optimization, cybersecurity enhancement, intelligent automation, healthcare monitoring, safety improvement, and sustainable resource management. However, challenges related to security, privacy, interoperability, scalability, computational complexity, and implementation costs remain important barriers to widespread adoption. In conclusion, IoT-based smart housing systems have evolved into integrated and intelligent residential ecosystems, and future development is expected to be driven by the convergence of Artificial Intelligence, distributed computing, Digital Twin technologies, and sustainable smart infrastructure solutions.

Abstract

The paradigm of urban planning has undergone drastic changes due to the digital transformation, shifting toward a smart city model supported by big data, artificial intelligence, information technology, and integrated digital systems. However, human resource readiness and digital competencies are just as important as technological infrastructure for the success of smart city development efforts. Through an Integrative Literature Review (ILR), this study aims to synthesize the conceptual history, multidimensional causes, and governance implications related to the digital skills gap in smart city development. Thematic synthesis and comparative mapping were used to comprehensively evaluate 25 journal articles indexed by Scopus. According to the study’s findings, the digital skills gap has evolved from a mere labor market mismatch into a multifaceted governance challenge, encompassing technological, institutional, societal, leadership, and ethical dimensions. This study also demonstrates how the digital skills gap impacts data-driven governance, a smart city’s capacity for innovation, digital inclusion, and socio-economic equity. It highlights digital capacity as a strategic prerequisite for smart city development by integrating disparate literature into a single analytical framework. This study makes a theoretical contribution by integrating digital governance, inclusive smart city concepts, and skills gap theory into a logical conceptual model.
