<![CDATA[Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PkM) oleh mahasiswa Jurusan Sistem Informasi FMIPA Universitas Tanjungpura sesuai surat nomor 4195/UN22.8/PL.18.01/2022 dilaksanakan pada SMP Al-Kholiqiah Kampung Teluk Lerang dalam bentuk sosialisasi mengenai etika penggunaan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK). Berdasarkan observasi dan wawancara terdapat permasalahan siswa SMP Al-Kholiqiah yaitu kurangnya pengetahuan siswa-siswi SMP Al-Kholiqiah terhadap cara dan etika dalam menggunakan TIK yang baik. Melalui PkM ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan wawasan dan pengetahuan siswa-siswi SMP Al-Kholiqiah, sehingga dapat lebih pintar dalam menyikapi perkembangan TIK. Metode pelaksanaan PkM dilakukan secara terprogram dan sistematis, dimulai dari penyusunan program dan rencana PkM, survey dan identifikasi permasalahan, persiapan sebelum pelaksanaan kegiatan, pelaksanaan PkM, dan terakhir dilakukan evaluasi. Bentuk PkM yaitu transfer pengetahuan mengenai etika atau cara penggunaan TIK yang baik dan benar, dan evaluasi bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi ada atau tidaknya peningkatan pengetahuan siswa-siswi SMP Al-Kholiqiah tentang etika penggunaan TIK dari sebelum dan setelah penyampaian materi. PkM bagi siswa-siswi SMP Al-Kholiqiah ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 18 Juni 2022 dan berjalan dengan lancar, dibuktikan dengan adanya antusiasme peserta PkM. Implikasi dari pelaksanaan PkM ini yaitu adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman siswa-siswi SMP Al-Kholiqiah mengenai etika dan cara penggunaan TIK sebesar 12,94%, dan kemampuan dalam penerapan filtering informasi atau konten berbahaya (negatif) dari web browser menggunakan fitur SafeSearch, baik pada laptop maupun handphone. Community Service (CS) by students of the Information Systems Department, FMIPA, Universitas Tanjungpura, was held at Al-Kholiqiah Junior High School, Teluk Learning Village, in the form of socialization regarding the ethics of using Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Based on observations and interviews, there are problems for Al-Kholiqiah Junior High School students, namely the lack of knowledge of Al-Kholiqiah Junior High School students on the ways and ethics of using ICT properly. Through this CS, it is hoped that it can increase the insight and knowledge of Al-Kholiqiah Middle School students, so they can be more competent in responding to ICT developments. The CS implementation method is programmatically and systematically, from preparing CS programs and plans, surveys and subsequent activities, preparation before execution, implementation of CS, and finally, an evaluation. The form of CS is the transfer of knowledge about ethics or how to use ICT properly and correctly, and the evaluation aims to obtain information on whether or not there is an increase in the understanding of Al-Kholiqiah Middle School students about the ethics of using ICT before and after the delivery of the material. CS for students of SMP Al-Kholiqiah was held on June 18, 2022, and went smoothly, as evidenced by the enthusiasm of CS participants. The implementation of this community service implies that there is an increase in knowledge and understanding of Al-Kholiqiah Middle School students regarding ethics and how to use ICT by 12.94%, and the ability to apply filtering of harmful (negative) information or content from web browsers using the SafeSearch feature, both on laptops and smartphones.]]>
