Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the importance of fostering the value of early childhood discipline in eating together activities carried out in three activities, namely praying before and after eating, eating in a sitting position, and being able to dispose of their waste after eating together activities are completed. The research methods used in this research are qualitative descriptive. The research in this study is class B with the number of students  19  children consisting of  11  boys and  8  girls. The study is located at TKQAl-Istiqomah. The data collection is done through observation and documentation. Data is analyzed using data reduction, data display, and data inference. Observations were carried out for approximately 2 months starting from January  2021  to February  2021. The results of this study showed that during observation the longer the more positive changes. The intended positive result is that the child has been able to discipline himself in eating activities along with aspects that are studied through discipline in prayer activities before and after eating, eating in a sitting position and the child can dispose of his garbage after the joint eating activity is completed. Tujuan dari diadakannya penelitian ini adalah ingin menjabarkan mengenai menumbuhkan nilai kedisiplinan anak usia dini pada kegiatan makan bersama yang dilakukan dalam tiga kegiatan yakni berdoa sebelum dan sesudah makan, makan dengan posisi duduk dan mampu membuang sampahnya sendiri setelah kegiatan makan bersama selesai. Metode penelitian yang digunakandalam penelitian iniadalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitianyang ada dalam penelitianiniyaitu kelas B dengan jumlah murid 19anak terdiri dari 11anak laki-laki dan delapananak perempuan.Penelitian ini  berlokasi di TKQ Al-Istiqomah.Teknik pengumpulan datanya dilakukan melalui observasi dan dokumentasi. Data  dianalisis dengan menggunakan reduksi data, display data dan kesimpulan data. Observasi dilakukan selama kurang lebih duabulan lamanya terhitung dari bulan januari 2021hingga bulan februari 2021. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa selama observasi berlangsung semakin lama semakin mengalami perubahan kearah yang positif. Hasil positif yang dimaksudkan ialahanak sudah mampumendisiplinkan dirinya pada kegiatan makan bersama dengan aspek yang diteliti melalui kedisiplinan dalam kegiatanberdoa sebelum dan sesudah makan, makan dengan posisi duduk dan anak mampu membuang sampahnya sendiri setelah kegiatan makan bersama selesai.
