Abstract

Mortar or species is one of the building materials which serves to glue the bricks, brick, and stucco. During this time still using portland cement mortar and lime as the main connective materials are expensive. Therefore we need an alternative other connective materials that have cheaper prices and predicted can improve the compressive strength of mortar. Alternative fastening material used in this study is waste from coal combustion, ie fly ash (fly ash). This study uses a mixture of cement and sand composition of 1: 3 at a weight ratio of fly ash to cement amounted to 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 30%. Samples were tested compressive strength and water uptake is cube-shaped sample with a size of 5 cm x 5 cm x 5 cm. Based on the results of research conducted showed that the addition of fly ash was found to increase the compressive strength of mortar and act as filler so as to reduce water absorption, which in get the most optimum composition occurs in the percentage of 15% of the weight of the cement with the compressive strength at 28 days amounted to 420.00 Kg / cm² and water absorption of 1.67%

Abstract

Laboratorium survey dan pemetaan di Jurusan Teknik Sipil Politeknik Negeri Malang memiliki peranan yang cukup penting guna menunjang peserta didik atau mahasiswa memiliki atau menguasai keahlian terapan tertentu berupa penguasaan dalam hal survey pemetaan. Oleh sebab itu layanan di laboratorium harus selalu ditingkatkan. Salah satu cara untuk mengetahui seberapa baik layanan yang telah diberikan dapat dilakukan dengan cara mengukur tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur seberapa besar tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap layanan proses belajar mengajar di laboratorium. Hasil uji validitas item kuesioner dengan menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson product moment menunjukkan bahwa seluruh item kuesioner dinyatakan valid, dengan membandingkan nilai r hitung masing-masing item kuesioner menunjukkan lebih besar dari r tabel statistiknya yaitu sebesar 0,159 dari 152 responden. Sedangkan uji realibitas dengan menggunakan Cronbach's Alpha menunjukkan reliabilitas tinggi dengan alpha sebesar 0,992. Hasil analisis deskriptif pengukuran indek kepuasan mahasiswa didapatkan tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa ditinjau dari aspek kinerja dosen pengajar praktikum sebesar 4,04 menunjukkan mahasiswa merasa puas terhadap kinerja dosen, ditinjau dari aspek kinerja laboran/PLP sebesar 3,87 menunjukkan mahasiswa puas terhadap kinerja laboran/PLP, ditinjau dari aspek kinerja peralatan sebesar 3,98 menunjukkan mahasiswa merasa puas terhadap kinerja peralatan yang tersedia di laboratorium.

Abstract

The management of the survey and mapping laboratory at the Civil Engineering Department of the State Polytechnic of Malang so far were used the conventional method, recording stock of equipment and materials supplies and the process of borrowing and returning equipment is done by filling out work papers or forms that are quite a lot so the process is quite time-consuming. The purpose of this research is to create a laboratory management information system using the Delphi 7.0 program, it is hoped that laboratory management that is integrated with computers can make laboratory activities more effective and efficient. By using the research and development (R&D) method, the following research results were obtained: a) a database system that can accommodate the recording of all laboratory management activities; b) software as an interface between laboratory users and the database system. From the series of research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that with an information system that has made service activities in the survey and mapping laboratory more effectively and efficiently.
