Abstract

Technology developments, particularly in the services sectors, continue to grow along with the advancing of time. The implementation of electronic data interchange system at PT Pertamina Trans Continental is so helpful for Tugboat crew Patra Tunda 3001 to communicate. Using qualitative descriptive methods and data analysis techniques with simple linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, determinant coefficient analysis and hypothesis testing, it turns out that a linear regression line equation showed Y = 24.851 + 0.421 X. It means that there is an increase of one unit from each variable in the use of the system "Electronic Data Interchange" (X). It will affect the improvement of crew communication variables (Y) of 0.421 units at constant point of 24.851. The correlation coefficient analysis shows r scors = 0.619 due to the large r between 0.60 to 0.799 which means the relationship between the use of the system "Electronic Data Interchange" and the crew is strong. Determinant coefficient analysis showed the value of Kp = 38.3% which means the effect of the use of the system "Electronic Data Interchange" accounted for 38.3% of the crew communication. Hypothesis test showed that the value of t is 4.176 and the value ttabel is 1.701. Because tcount is more than ttable (4.176 > 1.701), it means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. From this result, there is a significant relation between the use of the system "Electronic Data Interchange" and TB Tunda Patra 3001 crew communications.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the obstruction factors of green port concept at PT. Terminal Teluk Lamong in Surabaya Port. The method of the research used Fishbone Diagram to seek the main problems using 5 why keys. The result shows that the obstruction factors are the power plant, gas fuel of bulk cars, ships service, charging stations of gas fuel, clear water management, sterile dock area, and the discipline of the employees. The solution needed to be done as soon as possible is the on-time development.

Abstract

Human Resources of better known as the workforce is one of important factor that must be considered by the company in order to achieve its goals. It is needed the company’s ability to manage resources in a planned, especially human resource as the company’s executive power to generate power operational effectiveness and efficiency in any activities of the company. One factor that is important to note the company’s management in an effort to improve the quality of human resources, so the impact of increased labor productivity is a factor of discipline and compensation.The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship of discipline and compensation to labor productivity. The study design using hypothesis testing with multiple linear regression analysis method, to determine the magnitude of the relationship of independent variables on the dependent variable. In this study , data collection is done by spreading the census questionnaire to 36 employees of PT. Marindo Jaya Abadi, which of 36 questionnaire distributed a total of 36 answered in full by the employee and can be analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of this study concluded that the first, the discipline has a strong relationship with work productivity. Second, compensation has a strong relationship with work productivity. Third, discipline and motivation jointly strong associated with work productivity.

Abstract

PT. Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia (PT. Pelni) is a company engaged in inter-island crossing transportation service providers. The purpose of the study is to find out and analyze the influence of supply chain management and national shipping company (PT. Pelni) plan in suppressing the East Indonesia price disparity in 2016.  To solve the problem of the research, the researchers used 2 methods:  field research and library data for collecting data. Both methods of data analysis are processed using multiple regression analysis, with validity test, reliability test, t test, F test, and coefficient of determination. The results of the analysis and discussion show a fairly high influence between supply chain management and the national shipping plan on the price disparity of goods needed as indicated by the multiple linear regression line equation namely: Y = 14,947 + 0,318 X1 + 0,064 X2.  Based on the results of the F test, where the variables X1 and X2 give effect to the Y variable together, then the results of the analysis, F count is 3,807. Then, F count > F table which is 3.807 > 3.35 proves that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Therefore, there is a strong and positive multiple relation between supply chain management performance variable and the national shipping plan variable towards the price disparity variable with coefficient determination of 22%.
