<![CDATA[Along with the rapid development of technology, information technology has become a necessity that cannot be avoided anymore. In the process of making a shift schedule for PPNPN work hours at BPS, it is still done manually, namely by compilling it in Microsoft Excel. So looking at these problems, the authors aim to create a web-based (PHP) work shift schedule information system which can simplify the manufacturing process because it is already computerized. Then the system development method used in this study is the Waterfall method. For system development, the tool used is UML (Unified Modeling Language). During the data collection process, there were several ways to do it, such as interviews, observation, and literature study. The technique of testing uses the Blackbox technique. This test is carried out in order to find out whether the software can function properly. So from the results of the research and analysis that the author has done at the Palopo City BPS office, it can be concluded that this web-based information system allows all employees to access it anywhere (Internet) or in the corporate environment (Inranet) and plays a very important role in improving performance, i.e. better use of management/staff, faster report generation, easier so The risk of data spread and data loss is minimized with an information-based storage system, thanks to the use of the MySql database. It is hoped that the PPNPN shift schedule information system will help. ABSTRAKSeiring dengan perkembangan teknologi yang sangat pesat, teknologi informasi sudah menjelma menjadi suatu kebutuhan yang tidak bisa dielakkan lagi. Dalam proses pembuatan jadwal shift jam kerja PPNPN di BPS, masih dilakukan dengan cara manual, yaitu dengan cara di susun di Microsoft Excel. Jadi melihat permasalahan tersebut, maka penulis bertujuan untuk membuat suatu sistem informasi jadwal shift jam kerja berbasis web (PHP) yang mana dapat mempermudah dalam proses pembuatannya karena sudah terkomputerisasi. Kemudian metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Waterfall. Untuk pengembangan sistem, alat yang digunakan adalah UML (Unified Modeling Language). Pada saat proses pengumpulan data cara yang digunakan ada beberapa seperti, wawancara, observasi, dan studi pustaka. Adapun teknik dari pengujiannya menggunakan teknik Blackbox. Pengujian ini dilakukan agar dapat mengetahui apakah perangkat lunak dapat berfungsi dengan baik. Maka dari hasil penelitian dan analisis yang telah penulis lakukan di kantor BPS Kota Palopo, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Sistem informasi berbasis web ini memungkinkan semua karyawan untuk mengaksesnya di mana saja (Internet) atau di lingkungan perusahaan (Inranet) dan memainkan peran yang sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kinerja, yaitu penggunaan manajemen/staf yang lebih baik, pembuatan laporan yang lebih cepat, lebih mudah sehingga Risiko penyebaran data dan kehilangan data diminimalkan dengan sistem penyimpanan berbasis informasi, berkat penggunaan database MySql.
