Abstract

The hospital as a service industry is an industry that has a variety of complex labor problems with various risks of occupational diseases and even work-related accidents according to the type of work, so hospitals are obliged to implement Hospital Occupational Health and Safety (K3RS) efforts. The purpose of this study was to identify the causes of work accidents at Langsa Hospital. This type of research is descriptive analytic with a qualitative approach. The informants in this study consisted of 5 people, namely 1 Hospital Director or deputy, 1 K3RS team leader, 1 head nurse and 2 nurses. The results showed that the K3 staff at the Langsa City Hospital had not all received special K3 training, the implementation of health promotion to nurses and K3 workers was not carried out comprehensively and continuously, nurses carried out their duties in accordance with the applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SPO), but not all nurses had discipline in carrying out their duties, nurses have attended training on the use of PPE, but not all nurses ensure that PPE functions properly and correctly. It is recommended that Langsa Hospital provide a special budget for the implementation of K3 in the hospital and facilitate all K3 personnel to have good competence and be firm, such as by giving sanctions to all nurses who do not carry out their duties and do not have a good work culture.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the factors that influence the use of posyandu for the elderly in the Hinai Kiri Health Center Work Area, Langkat Regency in 2021. This study uses a quantitative method with a cross sectional design, a population of 1271 people, a sample with a stratified random sampling technique as many as 93 respondents. This study uses a questionnaire. The analysis of this study used univariate, bivariate and multivariate. The statistical test used was the chi square test and logistic regression. The results of the chi-square test were obtained on the knowledge variable p = 0.008, attitude p = 0.005, occupation p = 0.007, distance p = 0.005 and family support p = 0.006 which indicated that there were factors that influenced the use of posyandu for the elderly. The most influential variable is knowledge with an Exp(B) value of 1.438-5.400. The conclusion in this study is that there is an influence of knowledge, attitudes, work, distance and family support on the use of the Posyandu for the elderly in the Hinai Kiri Health Center Work Area, Langkat Regency in 2021. It is recommended to health workers at the Puskesmas in particular to improve counseling and counseling more intensively about the importance of Posyandu the elderly regularly and motivate the elderly to be more routine to participate in elderly visits at least once a month so that the health conditions of the elderly are maintained.

Abstract

Work stress is a widespread issue that often affects or is complained about by employees in several nations. Consequently, the purpose of this research was to analyze the elements that impact the job stress of nurses in the inpatient room at the Regional General Hospital of Doctor Zubir Mahmud, East Aceh Regency. The research design used is a cross-sectional, analytical survey. The population for this research consisted of 129 respondents, and the sample size for the purposive sampling approach was 56 respondents. Using a simple occupational stress questionnaire, data were obtained. Analysis of data using the chi-square test. Workload had a p-value of 0.004, career uncertainty had a p-value of 0.031, and dual roles had a p-value of 0.045, indicating that it affects the job stress of nurses in the inpatient room of the Regional General Hospital Doctor Zubir Mahmud Regency. Eastern Aceh The workload variable has the biggest impact on the job stress of nurses in the hospital, as measured by the value of Exp (B) or the Odds Ratio of 19,222. This research concludes that workload, career ambiguity, and numerous jobs have an effect on the work stress of nurses in the inpatient unit of the Regional General Hospital of Doctor Zubir Mahmud in East Aceh Regency. Researchers recommend that hospitals conduct good communication routinely before work to define duties and responsibilities, give social support, enhance the abilities of nurses to adapt to current changes, and assess the ability of nurses to deal with stress.
