Abstract

Cervical cancer is a malignant process that occurs in the cervix / cervix so that the surrounding tissue cannot carry out its function as it should. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) 490 thousand women were diagnosed with cancer, 240 thousand of them died, 80% of these cases occurred in developing countries. Research objective: to determine the knowledge description of married women of reproductive age about cervical cancer in the environment II sub-district of peace, sub-district of stabat, Langkat district in 2013. Research methodology: This type of research is a descriptive survey using primary data. The population in this study were married women of childbearing age in the neighborhood II of Peace Village with a sample of 40 people. The results obtained that the majority of 40 respondents lacked knowledge as many as 22 respondents (55%), based on age >35 years as many as 24 (60.0%) based on high school education as many as 24 respondents (60%) with sufficient knowledge, based on occupation the majority of IRT were 28 (70%), based on sources of information from health workers as many as 18 (45%). Suggestions It is hoped that the community will be more active in seeking information related to women's health maintenance.

Abstract

Premature rupture of membranes is still a health problem in Indonesia with a high incidence and mortality rate.According to WHO, the incidence of premature rupture of membranes (PROM) ranges from 5-10% of all births. Preterm PROM occurs in 1% of all pregnancies and 70% of cases of PROM occur in term pregnancies. In 30% of cases PROM is the cause of premature birth. The incidence of PROM in Indonesia ranges from 4.5-7.6% of all pregnancies. Able to increase knowledge, skills, and experiencewhich is evident in providing midwifery care to Mrs. SG3 P2 A0 at PMB Sri Kurniawati AM.Keb with premature rupture of membranes in 7 steps Varney. Descriptive observational is a case study approach. Descriptive research method is a research method carried out with the main aim of making an objective picture of a situation.After providing midwifery care to Mrs. S, the results of midwifery care were: general condition was good, consciousness: composting, Vital Signs BP: 110/80 mmHg, Pols: 80 x/i, RR: 24 x/i. Temp: 36️C. Bleeding: none, empty bladder, TFU: 1 finger below center. There was no maternal infection, delivery was normal, mother and child survived. There was no gap between theory and practice in the midwifery care provided to Mrs. S.

Abstract

Efforts are being made to control the population and direct the mobility of the population to create a society that grows in balance with the family planning program (KB). A quality and prosperous small family can be planned by every family through the family planning program. Providing family planning midwifery care to Mrs. Implant acceptor using Varney's 7-step obstetric management. The case study used a descriptive method with the scope of patients being Kb implant acceptors, when it was carried out on June 3, 2021 to June 7, 2021 at PMB Sri Kurniawati according to midwifery science. On June 3, 2021 to June 7, 2021 Mrs. R has become an implant KB acceptor, the implant is installed well and the mother has received therapy. Family planning care is done by providing counseling to mothers about the contraceptives used so that Mrs. Rahayu decided to become a new acceptor of KB implants by signing the infoconsent that had been given to the mother for implant placement. After post-implant installation, the mother received KIE regarding post-implant family planning treatment.

Abstract

Diarrhea is the leading cause of death for children under five years old, diarrhea kills around 760,000 children under five every year and globally there are nearly 1.7 billion diarrheal diseases each year. The type of research used is descriptive correlation with a cross sectional approach to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of mothers about clean and healthy living on the incidence of diarrhea in the elderly. The population in this study were all mothers who had children under five (1-5 years old) who suffered from diarrhea in the village of Brandan Timur Baru as many as 30 people. The sampling technique used a total sampling of 30 people. The results of statistical tests obtained that there was a relationship between knowledge about clean and healthy living on the incidence of diarrhea in children under five, with a degree of significance (α) = 0, 05 and df = 2, the calculation results are Sig (2-tailed) 0.032 < (α) = 0.05, there is a relationship between attitudes about clean living on the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers with the degree of significance (α) = 0.05 and df = 1, the calculation result is Sig (2-tailed) 0.007 < (α) = 0.05. Mother's knowledge can be increased through an intensive approach to the problem of diarrheal disease by providing counseling on clean and healthy living.

Abstract

Breast cancer is the uncontrolled growth of breast cells due to abnormal changes in the genes responsible for regulating cell changes. In Indonesia the incidence rate is 4.3 out of 100 000 population and cancer is the 7th highest cause of death after tuberculosis, hypertension, injury, perinatal, and diabetes mellitus. 2011-2012. Research methodology: The research is descriptive, by obtaining secondary data from the medical records of Medan Haji Hospital, with a total sample of 70 cases. Data collection began in May 2013 using a checklist sheet containing sociodemographic data, clinical stages, and medical measures. Results: From the data analysis, it can be seen that in the age group > 40 years people are 76.9%, high school education level is (51.3%), work as a housewife (44.9%), marital status (100%) is married, stage IV as much as (29.5%). Surgery + chemotherapy (33.3%) and length of stay < 12 days (100%). Conclusion: age < 40, high school education, work as a housewife, most clinical stage Stage IV, medical action and length of stay are the most characteristic or variable in mothers who experience breasts at Haji Hospital Medan, Suggestions:

Abstract

According to the World Health Organization (2010), Indonesia ranks first with the highest maternal mortality rate (MMR) from maternal mortality (28%), anemia and chronic energy deficiency in pregnant women are the main causes of bleeding and infection which are the main factors of death in pregnant women. . Based on research data on the quality of the Indonesian population in 2011, the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) was still at 228/100.00 live births. Objective: To determine the level of knowledge of pregnant women about anemia in Batu Malenggang Village, Hinai District, Langkat Regency in 2014. This type of research is a descriptive survey. The research was conducted in June 2014, the research instrument was a questionnaire. The population of 35 pregnant women as well as the sample in this study (total sampling). The results showed that the level of knowledge of pregnant women about anemia in Batu Malenggang Village, Hinai District, in the good category was 7 people (20.0%), the sufficient category was 22 people (62.9%), and the less category was 6 people (17.1%). %). The highest level of knowledge of pregnant women about anemia in Batu Malenggang Village is the sufficient category as many as 22 people (62.9%). to prevent and reduce the risk of anemia in pregnancy.
