Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the Implementation of Nurse Credentials and Nurse Performance at Mitra Sejati General Hospital. This research is descriptive correlation with cross sectional approach. The population of this study were all nurses working at Mitra Sejati General Hospital with a total of 160 people. The sampling technique used is a non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. The statistical tests used were univariate and bivariate, namely the frequency distribution and the Spearman Rank (Rho) test with a significant level of 5%The research results showed that the results of the study showed that the majority of respondents had good Nurse Credentials, 22 respondents (55.0%), most of the Nurses' Performance was good, 21 respondents (52.5%). Based on bivariate data analysis of Nurse Credential Implementation and Nurse Performance using the Spearman Rank test (Rho) with a significance level of 5%, it was found that the p value <α 0.000 ≤ 0.05 means that there is a significant relationship between Nurse Credential Implementation and Nurse Performance with degree strength a strong relationship of 0.745. From the results of this study it is suggested to the Director that it is necessary to maintain and always provide direction to members of the medical committee regarding the management of credentials carried out by the medical committee.

Abstract

Smoking has a 3.8 times the risk of the incidence of tuberculosis. The prevalence of smokers in Indonesia since 2013 has been increasing from year to year, ranking third after China and India with the highest cigarette consumption in the world. Airway ineffectiveness is influenced by the state of the lung health system, this needs to be anticipated and handled properly so that respiratory emergencies do not occur. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of smoking habits on airway effectiveness. This type of research is a quantitative research using a correlation design with a cross-sectional observation approach. The population in this study was tuberculosis patients. The type of sampling used in this study is non-probability sampling with a total sampling technique of 37 people. Data analysis used a non-parametric correlation statistic test, namely the Spearman correlation test with the assumption that the p vap-value05 to determine the influence between the two variables. Based on the results of the Spearman Correlation test, a p-value of 0.001 was obtained where the p-value < 0.05. This result indicates that there is a significant influence between smoking habits and the effectiveness of the airway in tuberculosis patients, the r-value of 0.589 which indicates that the strength of the relationship between the two variables is in the moderate category. It is suggested to Puskesmas respondents to always provide education about the dangers of smoking behavior in pulmonary TB patients. Abstract

The toddler period is a critical period or “golden age” that determines the quality of future growth and development. Globally, stunting remains a major challenge, with an estimated 150.2 million children affected in 2024. In Indonesia, the prevalence of stunting reached 21.5% according to the 2023 Indonesian Health Survey (SKI). Optimal nutrition through proper diet is a key determinant in preventing linear growth failure and maintaining toddler health. This study aims to analyze the relationship between toddler nutritional intake patterns and growth trends among toddlers aged 1-5 years in Tandem Hilir I Village, Deli Serdang District. This study used a quantitative analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. The study was conducted in April 2025 in the working area of the Tandem Hilir I Village Health Center. The study sample consisted of 58 mothers of toddlers selected using the total sampling (saturated sample) technique. The independent variable (eating habits) was measured using a structured questionnaire adapted from the Balanced Nutrition Guidelines with a Cronbach's alpha value of 0.82. The dependent variable (growth) was assessed through longitudinal data in the Health Card (KMS) or Maternal and Child Health Book (Buku KIA) for the last three months. The data were statistically analyzed using the chi-square (X2) test with a significance level of alpha = 0.05. Bivariate analysis revealed that 71.42% of toddlers with good eating patterns experienced optimal growth, while 34.78% of toddlers with poor eating patterns tended to experience stunting or weight loss. The chi-square test results showed a calculated X2 value of 7.5, which was greater than the X2 table value of 2.841 (p < 0.05), indicating a statistically significant relationship between nutritional intake patterns and toddler growth. There is a clear correlation between the quality of eating habits and the physical growth trajectory of children in the study location. Growth failure is more influenced by low nutritional literacy and the transition to low-nutrient processed foods Keywords: Toddler Diet, Growth, Stunting, Deli Serdang, Balanced Nutrition
