Abstract

This study aimed to develop and test the feasibility of an authentic-based assessment instrument assisted by the Edmodo application on biographical text material for class X SMA Swasta Melati, based on assessments from material expert validators and design experts. This study used research and development. The development procedure used refers to the development model of Borg and Gall (2003) that has been limited to three stages consisting of introduction, planning, and development. The results of this study indicated that the authentic-based assessment instrument assisted by the Edmodo application in the biographical text material of class X SMA Swasta Melati has met the good category. The assessment of validity level of authentic assessment instruments assisted by the Edmodo application by material experts with an average value as 4.18 indicating a good category and design experts as 4.9 indicating a good category. The assessment of feasibility level and effectiveness of authentic assessment instruments assisted by the Edmodo application by teachers with an average as 4.92 indicating a very good category, and individual trials as 4.86 indicating a very good category, the smallest group trial as 4.83 indicating a very good category, and the limited trial as 4.83 showed a very good category. It can be concluded that the authentically based assessment instrument assisted by the Edmodo application for the biographical text material of class X SMA Swasta Melati is valid and feasible to be used as an authentic assessment instrument assisted by the Edmodo application

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh keterampilan menulis cerpen dengan menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek dengan Media Audio Visual pada Siswa Kelas XI SMK Pijer Podi Berastagi. Populatoin adalah 70 siswa di kelas. Dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling, dinyatakan bahwa Kelas XI TKR-1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan Kelas XI TSM-2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen yang dirancang dengan rancangan two group post test. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk menjaring data tugas adalah menulis cerpen (esai). Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa dengan Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek dengan Model Audio Visual di kelas adalah 78,2 dan skor rata-rata dengan Model CIRC adalah 73,1. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis diperoleh Thitung sebesar 3,080 dan Ttabel = 1,999. Dibandingkan antara Thitung= dengan Ttabel, maka hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima dan hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak jika Thitung > Ttabel . diperoleh Thitung > Ttabel 3,080 > 1,999 sehingga dapat dinyatakan hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara Proses Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek dengan Media Audio Visual terhadap Kemampuan Menulis Cerpen Siswa Kelas XI SMK Pijer Podi Berastagi. Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek dengan Media Audio Visual dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis cerpen.

Abstract

This research aims to develop literary comic media as a learning medium for middle school students, produce viable comic products, and determine the differences in the results of applying comic media in experimental classes and control classes. This research uses a Research and Development research design. The trial was carried out at SMPN 3 Medan and SMPN 5 Medan. This trial use used True Experimental Design class VII-D at SMPN 3 Medan and class VII-A at SMPN 5 Medan. The instruments given were a product needs questionnaire with 14 questions and a test with 2 questions. Data analysis used the independent t-test which contained a difference test between 2 independent samples and hypothetically used the Mann Withney test which found differences in the independent learning outcomes of junior high school students between using comic media and not using comic media. This is proven from the results of the Mann Withney test calculations, so it can be concluded that there are differences in learning outcomes for junior high school students, and literary comic media is suitable for use as a learning medium. It is hoped that the results of this research can be used by related parties, such as teachers, students and future researchers
