Abstract

Tujuan  dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penembahan ramuan herbal dalam air minum terhadap persentase karkas, non karkas, lemak abdomen, dan bobot giblet ayam broiler. Materi yang digunakan adalah ayam broiler DOC CP 707 sebanyak 96serta menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 6 ulangan. Perlakuan  yang dicoba adalah: R0: Pakan + tanpa ramuan heral (kontrol), R1: Pakan + pemberian ramuan herbal 5 ml/L air minum, R2: Pakan + pemberian ramuan herbal 10 ml/liter air minum, R3 : Pakan + pemberian ramuan herbal 15 ml/liter air minum. Parameter  yang diukur adalah persentase karkas, persen non karkas,lemak abdomen , berat giblet ayam, dan konsumsi air minum. Hasil statistik menunjukkanbahwa perlakuan yang diberikan tidak berpengaruh  nyata (P>0,05) terhadap variabel yang diukur.Disimpulkan bahwapenambahan ramuan herbal ke dalam air minum dengan dosis yang berbeda tidak memberikan efeknegatif terhadap nilai persentase karkas, non -karkas, lemak abdomen, bobot giblet serta konsumsi air ayam broiler.   The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of adding herbal ingredients in drinking water on the percentage of carcass, non-carcass, abdominal fat, and giblet weight of broiler chickens. The material used was 96 DOC CP 707 broiler chickens and used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 6 replications. The treatments were: R0: Feed + no herbs (control), R1: Feed + 5 mlherbsjuice/L drinking water, R2: Feed + 10 mherbs juicel/liter drinking water, R3: Feed +  15 mlherbs juice / liter of drinking water. Parameters measured were percentage of carcass, percent of non carcass, abdominal fat, weight of chicken giblet, and drinking water consumption. Statistical analysisresults showed that the treatment given had no significant effect (P>0.05) on the variables measured. It was concluded that the addition of herbal ingredients to drinking water with different doses did not have a negative effect on the percentage values ​​of carcass, non-carcass, abdominal fat, giblet weight and water consumption of broiler chickens.
