Abstract

Widyaiswara in carrying out their duties and functions must have the required competence in accordance with their field of specialization, as stated in the Regulation of the Head of State Administration Agency No. 5 of 2008 concerning Widyaiswara Competency Standards. This is to provide services to training participants. One of the service achievements can be measured by the level of satisfaction of the training participants with the services provided by widyaiswara. Based on the dimension of servant, in general the level of participant satisfaction with the widyaiswara services at The First Operational Supervisory (POP) of Mining Training was very satisfying with the perception of the training participants being in the range of 3.26-4.00. In this study, researchers measured the training participants satisfaction with widyaiswara services at POP Training at PPSDM Geominerba in 20 batches of 2018. Measurement of training participant satisfaction was carried out through a questionnaire with variables in the form of five dimensions of service quality, namely tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. From that, it is found that the tangible dimension is 3.29, the reliability dimension is 3.3, the responsiveness dimension is 3.31, the assurance dimension is 3.28, and the empathy dimension is 3.34.

Abstract

According to a report from PT Trans Marga Jateng in March 2011, there was a change in the condition of the Penggaron Bridge located in the Semarang–Solo toll road Km. 20–21. These changes are indicated due to the Landslide, resulting in erosion and subsidence on the east side of the Penggaron bridge. As a result of the ground movement arises fractures in the expansion joint on the right side and there is a decrease in soil. Based on this, monitoring the movement of the soil by studying geological data, the occurrence of soil movements, geomorphology, water, rainfall, land use and installation of stakes. The method used in the form of a sliding stake measured using the Global Position System (GPS) - Real-time Kinematic (RTK) to get the position vector with high accuration. The results show that there are several points on the sliding stakes which show a change between 0.7–69 cm at 6 points of stakes. Horizontal shift shows the direction of the vector to the south and southeast, and vertically the magnitude of the change in peg increase ranges from 2–13 cm and and decrease of stakes around 0.7–17.5 cm for 10 months periods from February until November 2018.

Abstract

In seismic wave propagation modeling, the problem is the boundary conditions of the model to approach the real situation. The boundary conditions of the model are edges, free surfaces, and boundaries between layers. In this study, 2D elastic wave propagation simulation was made using a fourth order finite difference approach and staggered grid by applying boundary conditions to the modeling. At the edges of the model, the pseudo boundary conditions were applied using the damping function to eliminate the effect of reflection on the edges of the medium model. On the free surface, the boundary conditions of the free surface are applied where the stress on the surface is zero and in the boundary between layers, all stresses and shift vectors are continuous so that propagation at the boundary of the medium will be correct. The wave source used is a Gaussian derivative. By varying the use of damping factor (Df) and damping width (nabs) at the edge of the medium model, the optimum attenuation for the pseudo boundary conditions of the model is at Df= 3 and n abs at 70-100 grid points. Free surface and between layers boundary condition are used to make corrections to the wave propagation phase changes when a wave hits the model boundary.

Abstract

Availability of ground water at the PPSDM Geominerba Cipatat field campus - Padalarang is a problem that must be taken seriously enough and planned in order to improve services in the use of the field campus to support education at PPSDM Geominerba. Based on this, a study of the potential for groundwater availability has been carried out to overcome existing problems. One of the efforts made is to conduct a type of geoelectric resistivity investigation to illustrate the potential of groundwater in the field campus area. Measurement and data retrieval is done by Schlumberger (Vertical Electrical Sounding) and dipole-dipole (Profiling) configurations on 5 sounding points and 2 profiling lines. From the investigation conducted, it was found that the area lithology of the field campus was dominated by limestone, with the results of the interpretation obtained 3 main layers, namely: tuff, sand, clay tuff, and limestone. The lower limit of the limestone layer cannot be ascertained through this investigation due to the inadequate length of coverage factor both for sounding techniques and profiling techniques The location around the expected point of GL-3 is a more realistic place for groundwater extraction with a slight shift to the north. The thickness of the low resistivity layer that is not too thick is expected to provide enough contact area to allow storing and capturing more meteoric water besides the surface water collected in the porous layer.
