Abstract

The Ar-Rohmah Savings and Loans Cooperative is transitioning from conventional cooperatives to sharia-based cooperatives, to meet the demands of cooperative members that are under Islamic values ​​and are more just in transactions under muamalah provisions in Islam. Therefore, to help with the problems faced by the East Java Ar Rohmah Savings and Loans Cooperative and increase the capacity of its human resources, it is necessary to hold training related to Islamic financial management. This activity aims to provide training to employees of the Ar-Rohmah Savings and Loan Cooperative on how to manage finances according to sharia principles so that later they can serve customers well under Islamic sharia provisions. The implementation of this activity uses the Participatory Action Research method through three stages, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Through the evaluation results of the pre-test and post-test with a ratio of 11.91, this community service activity has succeeded in changing the work habits of cooperative employees towards the work and knowledge they apply. The knowledge that has been obtained regarding Islamic financial management is expected to become a driving force for other Islamic cooperative employees.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPengabdian masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di BTPN Syariah Sukapura. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah menerapkan Metode ABCD untuk mendukung pertumbuhan UMKM dengan pendampingan aktif kepada nasabah. Kegiatan ini bermitra dengan nasabah BTPN Syariah, dengan jumlah nasabah yang terlibat sebanyak 12 orang setiap bulannya selama periode 4 bulan. Melalui pendekatan ini, tahap pertama fokus pada identifikasi aset, dengan mendalami potensi, keahlian, dan sumber daya yang dimiliki oleh setiap nasabah untuk pengembangan usaha. Tahap kedua mengarah pada pemberdayaan komunitas, di mana sumber daya internal komunitas dimobilisasi untuk meningkatkan kinerja usaha. Pendampingan dilakukan secara erat antara fasilitator dan nasabah, menekankan kolaborasi yang kuat dan pemahaman yang lebih baik terhadap pengelolaan aset. Hasilnya menunjukkan keberhasilan Metode ABCD dalam memperkuat kapasitas UMKM melalui pengelolaan aset yang lebih efektif, membantu nasabah dalam memahami pentingnya pemanfaatan sumber daya internal untuk pertumbuhan usaha. Kolaborasi erat ini memberikan kontribusi berharga bagi pengembangan sektor UMKM di Indonesia, menekankan pentingnya pendekatan yang berpusat pada aset komunitas untuk mendukung pertumbuhan yang berkelanjutan. Jumlah peserta terlibat dalam kegiatan ini mencapai sekian orang dari berbagai latar belakang UMKM di BTPN Syariah Sukapura. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pendampingan aktif, identifikasi aset, pemberdayaan komunitas, dan evaluasi secara holistik terhadap kemajuan usaha nasabah. Kata kunci: UMKM; pendampingan; kapasitas; fasilitator. ABSTRACTThis community service is motivated by the need to increase the capacity of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in BTPN Syariah Sukapura. The purpose of this activity is to apply the ABCD Method to support the growth of MSMEs with active assistance to customers. This activity partnered with BTPN Syariah customers, with a total of 12 customers involved each month over a 4-month period. Through this approach, the first stage focuses on asset identification, by exploring the potential, skills, and resources possessed by each customer for business development. The second stage leads to community empowerment, where internal community resources are mobilized to improve business performance. Mentoring is conducted closely between facilitators and clients, emphasizing strong collaboration and a better understanding of asset management. The results demonstrate the success of the ABCD Method in strengthening the capacity of MSMEs through more effective asset management, helping clients understand the importance of utilizing internal resources for business growth. This close collaboration made a valuable contribution to the development of the MSME sector in Indonesia, emphasizing the importance of a community asset-centered approach to support sustainable growth. The number of participants involved in this activity reached as many people from various MSME backgrounds in BTPN Syariah Sukapura. Implementation methods include active mentoring, asset identification, community empowerment, and holistic evaluation of customer business progress. Keywords: MSMEs; mentoring; capacity; facilitator.
