Abstract

Laku Pandai is a program providing banking services and/or other financial services through cooperating with other parties (bank agents) and supported by the usage of modern facilities to increase and expand any accesses to financial services. Laku Pandai is quite effective and efficient if its implementation and optimization are conducted by the banks that are eager in expanding their services in lower average cost. As for how it is, its significant development then triggered BRI Sharia to participate. However, Financial Services Authority thinks that conventional banking is not yet optimal, so it comes up with an argumentative assumption on sharia banking if it successfully implements the program. The purpose of this study is to determine appropriate strategies for optimizing Laku Pandai outputs in sharia banking using SWOT and AHP analysis. SWOT analysis is used to determine internal and external factors related to application of the output, while AHP is used to capture the best precise strategy. The result of the research shows that the main output of Laku Pandai is to successfully reach unbanked people with the exact alternative that is by improving marketing and promotion, improving socialization and education to society, improving agent quality and establishing vision and mission.

Abstract

Provision Impairment Loss (CKPN) is allowance for value assets after there is an impairment less than the beginning balance. The calculation of CKPN is divided into two methods, they are individual and collective. The researcher used analysis as instrument of the research, that was structural equation modeling (SEM). The research was examined the effect of CKPN to Murabahah Income and Financial Performance that consists of four variables, they are NIM/NCOM, NPF, ROE, and ROA. The researcher used the data from 11 General Syariah Bank in 2014. The researcher used SEM method with alternative Partial Least Square (PLS) and used SmartPLS 1.0 application. The result showed that CKPN was effected for the level of Murabahah Income and Financial Performance at General Syariah Bank in 2014. The statistical result of the first hypnotical test was 0,951 with T-Statistic 55,884, it meant that those number was more than T-Table 2.326 or in other words Hypothesis 1 (H1) was accepted. The result of second hypnotical was 0,689 with T-Statistic 25,687 and more than T-Table 2.326 or in other words Hypothesis 2 (H2) was accepted.

Abstract

The number of BMT Al Munawwarah partners since 1996 - December 2015 reached 2,803 business units. The large number of BMT Al Munawwarah partners is the cumulative amount of each financing channeled by BMT Al Munawwarah, covering the financing of the musyarokah, mudhorobah, murabaha and ijaroh schemes. It is not known which financing products are more potent in influencing the number of BMT Al Munawwarah partners. To find out the products that potentially influence the number of BMT Al Munawwarah partners, using model model of Multiple Linear Regression (MLR) Linear Logarithm function (Log-lin).The results show that the number of BMT Al Munawwarah partners is significantly influenced by the Ijaroh financing scheme, while for other products, musyarokah, mudhorobah and murabaha does not significantly affect the number of partners. This means that the Ijaroh system is very instrumental to the increasing number of BMT Al Munawwarah partners.

Abstract

The percentage of non-performing financing in BMT Al Munawwarah at 2016 exactly high for every month, so should be taken a method to predict the quality of financing before filing a customer applicant approved. An Artifical Neural Network (ANN) is processing of information system has characteristic similar biology neural network, ANN used to predict because the good approachment ability toward unlinear. This research attempts to design software to predict the quality of financing with the ANN method. Based on the results of training with training datasets 276 data and validation datasets 91 data, using architecture with 1 hidden layer and 164 neurons, iteration 2000, and retrain 10 times, produce results the accuration of application 82%. With the test datasets 91 data, applications can recognize the test datasets about 75 data. Based on these results, ANN can be used to predict the quality of financing.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of earnings per share and the debt to asset ratio on the firm’s value. The population in this research is all companies sub-sectors of food and beverages listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Based on purposive sampling technique from the population selected six companies as a sample for six years (2009-2014). The result showed that: (1) earnings per share have a positive and significant effect on firm’s value. This is consistent with the signaling theory, where the company’s decision gives high dividend is a positive signal to investors that the company’s revenue growth in the future is also high. Therefore, the maximum potential dividend can be measured by earnings per share, the higher the earnings per share higher the bargaining power of the company’s shares so that the value of the company will also increase. (2) Debt to asset ratio has the negative and significant effect on firm’s value. The increase in the amount of debt is regarded as a negative signal by investors so that their effect is negative. Each side is competing to be the winner. The company seeks to attract investors through good financial performance and investors are competing to invest in companies that provide maximum benefit.
