Abstract

The areas of Tanjung Rhu and Limbungan villages are areas that are bordered by the Siak river. The existence of the Siak River in the Pekanbaru community is one of the connecting routes with other areas, as well as the entry of goods from within and outside the Pekanbaru area. Where there is the main port of the Daku River which is still used for its function today as transportation access. This transportation access has an impact on river abrasion. This study aims to acknowledge biodiversity condition in PT Pertamina. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques, documentation studies, and in-depth interviews. The results of the study show that the condition of the Siak River in recent times has not received special attention from the government. PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Fuel Terminal Sei Siak highlights environmental aspects and the sustainability of biodiversity around the company's operations in order to be maintained and sustainable by initiating an Ecotourism program by planting mangrove seedlings, planting several types of trees and plants to reduce carbon dioxide and maintaining aquatic biota ecosystems. as well as the mainland. There are also animal conservation activities, namely the Serindit Bird to maintain endemic animal ecosystems in the Semut Island Ecotourism Area.

Abstract

The CSR program is a form of the company's contribution to realizing its responsibilities as regulated in Law Number 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies. Through Community development as a CSR strategy, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Fuel Terminal Sei Siak built an ecotourism-based tourism village on Semut Island, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. This ecotourism village development program aims to empower the community, preserve the environment, and attract tourists, which impacts sustainable economic development. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with documentation study and in-depth interviews. The results showed that the ecotourism-based empowerment program could contribute to environmental conservation, which increased fish, shrimp, and other biota commodities for food supplies and became an attraction for tourists to Semut Island, which would generate sustainable economic benefits. In terms of society, the Tourism Village program provides Saung Education as a gathering place to increase residents' capacity. PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Fuel Terminal Sei Siak will monitor and supervise the program's sustainability and biodiversity on Semut Island.

Abstract

This study describes the implementation of several innovations at PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Fuel Terminal Sei Siak Pekanbaru. The implementation of this implementation program is focused on improving environmental management. The innovation program is a social innovation system that integrates the process of energy efficiency, emission reduction, reduction of B3 and non-B3 solid waste, water efficiency, and pollutant load by prioritizing and paying attention to the analysis of the impacts that will be caused. This study was conducted using descriptive qualitative methods and data collection techniques carried out by in-depth interviews with PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Fuel Terminal Sei Siak, as well as a literature study on the implementation of innovation. The innovation program carried out by PT Pertamina Fuel Terminal Sei Siak has resulted in a configuration of social innovations that can provide significant benefits in efforts to improve environmental management.
