Abstract

Anemia in pregnancy is a national problem because it reflects the value of the socioeconomic welfare of the community, and its influence is very large on the quality of human resources This research was conducted at Puskesmas Limboto. The purpose of this research is to findout the correlation of knowledge and attitude of Primigravida Pregnant Women with Anemia at Limboto Puskesmas Kabuapten Gorontalo. The type of this research is Descriptive Analytic with cross sectional approach with sample number 48 respondents. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. From result of analysis of SPSS 16 statistical test of knowledge with anemia using Chi-square formula with significance level 0,05 obtained result 0.013 <0,05 which mean there is correlation of knowledge with anemia at Puskesmas Limboto Kabupaten Gorontalo. As well as attitudes with anemia obtained results 0.000 <0.05 which means there is a correlationbetween attitude with anemia in the Work Area Puskesmas Limboto, Gorontalo District.Anemia pada kehamilan merupakan masalah nasional karena mencerminkan nilai kesejahteraan sosial ekonomi masyarakat, dan pengaruhnya sangat besar terhadap kualitas sumber daya manusia. Penelitian ini dilakukan Puskesmas Limboto.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dan sikap ibu hamil primigravida dengan kejadian anemia di wilayah Puskesmas Limboto Kabupaten Gorontalo. Desain penelitian ini ini menggunakan kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional dengan jumlah sampel 48 responden.Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Hasil analisis uji statistik menunjukkan hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan kejadian anemia menggunakan rumus Chi- square dengan tingkat kemaknaan 0,05 diperoleh hasil 0.013 < 0,05 yang berarti ada hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan kejadian anemia di  Wilayah  Puskesmas Limboto Kabupaten Gorontalo. Serta ada hubungan antara sikap dengan kejadian anemia diperoleh hasil 0.000 < 0,05.

Abstract

Every pregnant woman has a risk to the health of the mother and fetus, for that pregnant women need to be equipped with knowledge about the danger signs of pregnancy, so as to minimize the occurrence of morbidity and mortality that occurs. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of audio-visual on the danger signs of the knowledge of pregnant women in the working area of the PuskesmasTilango, Telaga District, Gorontalo Regency before and after being given counseling. This method of community service uses the approach of pre-experiment by designing one group pretest-posttest. The Number of samples in this study was as much as 30 respondents as well as data analysis using the Wilcoxon signed rank test. From the result counseling show increase in knowledge of pregnant women before and after being given counseling health about the dangers of pregnancy by using audio-visual. Suggestion: It is hoped that health workers and cadres will be more aggressive in providing counseling and socialization to pregnant women from an early age to avoid risks to pregnant women.

Abstract

As a period of life, the adolescence is an important stage that a person must go through before he reaches adulthood. During adolescence, many changes occur both biologically, psychologically and socially. Generally, the process of physical change occurs faster than mental maturation. The changes in physical appearance that occur in adolescents can cause anxiety and awkwardness for adolescents because they require them to adjust to the changes that occur. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of young women in preparing for physical appearance changes during puberty in SMP Negeri 1 Telaga Biru, Gorontalo District, Gorontalo Province, Indonesia. This type of research is a quantitative study with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all of the 163 female junior high school students of SMP Negeri 1 Telaga Biru 1 in Gorontalo. The sampling technique used stratified random sampling on grade VII to IX students. The obtained samples were 54 students. Data processing was analyzed using chi square test. Based on the research results, it was found that the relationship between the knowledge of young women in dealing with physical changes at puberty was p value = 0.009 < 0.05. Second, there is a relationship between the attitudes of young women in dealing with physical changes at puberty with the results of the chi square test showing the p value = 0.007 < 0.05. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between adolescent knowledge in dealing with physical changes at puberty and there is a relationship between adolescent attitudes in dealing with physical changes at puberty. Researchers expect that in dealing with changes during puberty, adolescents must equip themselves with knowledge and have a positive attitude.

Abstract

Disaster is the incident or sequence which threatens and disrupts people’s lives that caused of natural and non natural factors as well as human factors resulting in fatalities environmental damage, and property loss. The objective of research was to determine the relationship between society’s participations with flood disaster mitigation at Tolite village, Boliyohuto sub district. The design used quantitative descriptive with cross sectional study approach. The populations are 1101 respondents of societies with sampling was used purposive sampling technique with the samples determinate used slovin formula therefore obtained the samples are 92 respondents. Statistical test used chi square. With significance value is p value= 0,005 small than (p<0,05) thus Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Concluded, there is significance relationship between between society’s participations with flood disaster mitigation at Tolite village, Boliyohuto sub district.

Abstract

Dysmenorrhoea is one of the most common gynecological problems affecting more than 50% of women and causes an inability to perform daily activities for 1 to 3 days each month. One of the management of pain during menstruation is by relaxing deep breaths, namely by teaching clients how to do deep breaths and how to exhale slowly so as to reduce pain intensity and also increase lung ventilation and increase blood oxygenation. The purpose of this community service is to provide training to nursing students on deep breathing relaxation which can reduce menstrual pain (dysmenorrhoea). Deep breath relaxation training is carried out through the pretest stage, the training stage and the post test. There are 42 students who were given training in community service, namely nursing students from the 2016 and 2017 Muhammadiyah University of Gorontalo. The degree of dysmenorrhoea pain at the time of the pre test was mild pain 0% moderate pain as much as 81.0% and severe pain 19.0%. 9% and severe pain 19.0%. Based on the results of the training, it showed that most female students stated that this training was very useful because they gained knowledge and understanding of overcoming menstrual pain, after doing deep breathing relaxation students felt a decrease in dysmenorrhoea pain.

Abstract

Due to their inability to meet their own iron requirements, mothers who are pregnant with iron deficiency are placing their unborn children at risk for birth defects such as low fatal organ maturity and prematurity. Hypovolemic hemorrhage during labour in anemic conditions increases the chance of death. Pregnant women's knowledge of anemia and their adherence to Fe pills in the Public Health Centre, Langkat Regency were the primary goals of this study. Cross-sectional surveys were used in this type of research. All pregnant women in the working area of Public Health Centre, Langkat Regency, were surveyed in August, with a total of 68 people participating. For this investigation, the method of sampling was total sampling. Results of the Study Regarding 67% of those polled have inadequate information about anemia, and 41% of those polled don't take their medication as directed (60.3%).  Adherence to taking Fe pills is strongly influenced by a person's level of knowledge. The p-value is less than 0.05. Increasing pregnant women's knowledge of the importance of taking Fe pills is recommended in order to raise their degree of adherence to taking Fe tablets.
