Abstract

Shari?a Mandiri Bank and Bukopin Bank finances have a less significant difference when viewed from total assets at the end of 2014, which is only a difference of 12.109 trillion rupiah. It indicates that both have a performance that is not much different. This study aims to determine the differences in financial performance between Shari?a Mandiri Bank and Bukopin Bank during 2010-2014 by using Risk-based Bank Rating (RBBR) approach analysis. Risk-Based Bank Rating is a financial performance approach issued by the Financial Authority for banks in Indonesia in order to conduct self assessment on possible risks based on Bank Rating (composite rating). This research is included in quantitative research using a comparative approach that is, the researchers compare the financial performance of the two Banks. Results of research There are significant differences so that H1 is accepted while H0 is rejected because, the value of t arithmetic <0,05 is equal to 0,028. Evident from the composite rating in both Banks, Bukopin Bank has a very Healthy Composite Ranking of 90% when compared with Shari?a Mandiri Bank which is equal to 73% who has a Health rating.

Abstract

This research is to know how to apply the principles of Good CorporateGovernance (GCG) at Bank BRISyariah Pusat, what are the obstacles faced inapplying GCG principles and how to overcome the obstacles that happened inapplying GCG principles at Bank BRI Syariah. The method used is the method ofqualitative naturalistic research with data collection techniques that is observation,interview and documentation. The results conclude that BRISyariah has applied GCGprinciples in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. There are five GCGprinciples applied by BRISyariah in accordance with Bank Indonesia Regulation(PBI) no. 11/33 / PBI / 2009 is transparency, accountability, responsibility,professional, fairness. Implementation of the principles of Good CorporateGovernance (GCG) under the authority of Bank BRISyariah can be said to be good,effective and in accordance with the provisions of applicable legislation.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of restructuring of problematic financing and whether the implementation of restructuring can strive for sustainable banking. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The author collected data using observation, interviews, and documentation methods from three informants in the Marketing Division, with the research location at Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Bekasi Square. The results of this research show that: 1. The implementation of the restructuring of problematic financing that Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Bekasi Square has carried out is effective as a form of rescue for problematic financing customers. OJK's restructuring policy is the best step in dealing with problematic financing. 2. The implementation of restructuring to sustain banking has had a very positive impact, such as the bank's performance becoming healthy and the portfolio and customer collectibility returning to normal by integrating environmental, social and governance criteria. This restructuring implementation can support sustainable banking at Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Bekasi Square.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the comparison of the financial performance of Islamic Commercial Banks using the Islamicity Performance Index (IPI) and Market Value Added (MVA) methods. The study period covers the years 2018-2021. This research employs a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The study population includes all Islamic Commercial Banks registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) during 2018-2021. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, resulting in three Islamic Commercial Banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data analysis method involves descriptive analysis and using the Cartesian Diagram of IPI and MVA to determine the position of the Islamic Commercial Banks. The results of this study show that there are four quadrants in the Cartesian diagram, but only two quadrants are occupied by Islamic Commercial Banks. Firstly, Quadrant I, or the Upper Left Quadrant (ULQ), is occupied by Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Negara Syariah (BTPNS) and Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI), indicating that these two banks have high Market Value Added (MVA) but low Islamicity Performance Index (IPI). Secondly, Quadrant IV, or the Lower Right Quadrant (LRQ), is occupied by Bank Panin Dubai Syariah, indicating that this bank has a high Islamicity Performance Index (IPI) but a low Market Value Added (MVA). Meanwhile, no banks occupy Quadrant II or the Lower Left Quadrant (LLQ) and Quadrant III or the Upper Right Quadrant (URQ), indicating that no banks have both low IPI and MVA or both high IPI and MVA.

Abstract

The BPRS is one of the islamic finansial institutions that has positive development in Indonesia. BPRS activities are not much different from Sharia Commercial Banks, one of which is distributing financing. The most widely used financing for BPRS in Indonesia is murabahah financing. With the amount of murabahah financing carried out, BPRS must monitor so the implementation of financing is in accordance with the sharia principles, in accordance with the agreement, dan to keep the murabahah financing provided in a good condition. This study aims to determine the methods for enforcing murabahah financing at BPRS Patriot Bekasi, financing monitoring procedures for murabahah financing at BPRS Patriot Bekasi, and analyzing the monitoring implementation of murabahah financing at BPRS Patriot Bekasi. This study uses a qualitative research. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data, with data collection techniques through interviews, library research, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this study, are data reduction, facts presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study is indicate that BPRS Patriot Bekasi adheres to the 5C principle inside the implementation of murabahah financing. The procedure for monitoring of murabahah financing at BPRS Patriot Bekasi is corresponding with the theory but with different name, that is On Site Monitoring and Off Site Monitoring.

Abstract

This research discusses the risk management analysis carried out by PT. Sharia State Savings Bank towards multi-service financing products. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, the data collected in this study is in the form of words, sentences or images that describe the actual situation. The author collects data through observation, interviews, and documentation to facilitate the research process. The results showed that the risks faced by PT. Sharia State Savings Bank towards multi-service financing, namely financing risks and operational risks. The application of risk management carried out by PT. Sharia State Savings Bank is by conducting an identification process by looking at 5C (Character, Capacity, Capital, Collateral, Condition Of Economy), measuring by looking at the NPF value every month, monitoring by providing daily report updates, as well as controlling with several collection processes, visits, saving financing using Reconditioning and Rescheduling, as well as conducting collateral auctions. Pt. Sharia State Savings Bank has carried out risk management of multi-service financing properly and in accordance with PBI No. 13/23/PBI/2011 concerning the Application of Risk Management for Sharia Commercial Banks and Sharia Business Units, namely a series of procedures and methodologies used to identify, measure, monitor, and control risks that arise.

Abstract

This community service aims to increase the understanding and participation of the people of Karang Indah Village, Bojongmangu District, Bekasi Regency in making sharia investments to improve the economic welfare of the village community. The problem encountered is that there are still many people in Karang Indah Village who do not understand how to manage finances properly, this causes many people to be trapped in a circle of poverty and difficulties in achieving economic welfare. To overcome this, the service team carried out a community service movement by holding a sharia investment socialization program to increase financial literacy in the community and provide education on how to manage finances effectively and efficiently. The service method uses socialization and assistance to the community in using the Bibit application to make it easier for people to invest. The results of the community service activities showed that this program was successful as seen from the enthusiasm of the community service participants who managed to understand and increase literacy on how to manage finances in investing through the Bibit application

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the development of the world economy, including the banking and financial services industry. One of the financing products at Bank BTN Syariah is the Home Ownership Financing-Mortgage (Sharia KPR), where the more financing funds are channeled, of course, the greater the potential for risk. The purpose of this study was to formulate a risk management strategy for Sharia KPR products that Bank BTN Syariah KC Bekasi can use during the Covid-19 pandemic. To analyze and develop the bank strategy, we use the Grand Strategy Matrix method by blending internal and external factors, where the analysis and strategy selection process is divided into three stages: Input stage, matching stage, and Decision stage. The results of the study showed that several internal and external factors occur in Bank BTN Sharia KC Bekasi that affect the development of Sharia KPR products; Bank BTN applies risk management based on the 5C principle to minimize the occurrence of risks that may occur. Managerial implications of this research are credit risk management, management, increased risk monitoring, effective communication, product innovation, conducting education and training, and Sharia compliance.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role as economic drivers in Indonesia, proven to be able to survive even in conditions of economic crisis. However, the MSME sector still faces major problems related to capital, especially in obtaining credit from banks with high interest rates and material collateral requirements that are difficult to meet. The development of various Islamic banking provides an opportunity to meet the needs of MSMEs, with a profit-sharing system that is different from conventional banking. This community service aims to provide understanding and increase the literacy of MSME actors regarding financing opportunities through Islamic banks. The service method applies socialization in the development of MSMEs by applying for financing at Islamic banks in Sukamukti Village. The results of the service show that MSME players can take advantage of the potential of Islamic banking to develop their business, increase better understanding of Islamic financing mechanisms, MSME players can overcome capital challenges and encourage economic growth.

Abstract

This research aims to find out what financing risks occur, how to implement financing risk mitigation, and to find out risk mitigation strategies for Subsidized BTN KPR Financing carried out by Bank BTN Syariah to minimize problematic financing after the Covid-19 pandemic. This research method uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. In this research, Bank BTN Syariah is one of the financial institutions in Cibubur. The sample collection technique used a purposive sampling technique, namely 4 employees at Bank BTN Syariah. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation with data analysis using the Miles and Huberman approach. The results of this research are the financing risks that occur in Subsidized BTN KPR Financing, namely the financing risks caused by customers failing to pay. Financing risk mitigation carried out by Bank BTN Syariah for Subsidized BTN KPR Financing is by identifying risks, measuring risks, monitoring risks and controlling risks. Meanwhile, the risk mitigation strategy carried out by Bank BTN Syariah for Subsidized BTN KPR Financing is by using the 5 C principles including Character, Capital, Condition of Economy, Capacity, and Collateral. Apart from that, the mitigation strategy carried out by Bank BTN Syariah after the Covid-19 pandemic was by implementing several approaches, namely a purchasing strategy approach based on community needs, a friendship approach with customers during the Covid-19 pandemic; and implementing the Covid-19 restructuring policy.
