Abstract

In the process of distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, early age students have to study from home and need parental guidance. However many parents are still less able to guide their children in online learning activities. This study aimed to analyze fathers’ involvement in early childhood care during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of study was qualitative. The approach used in this study was a case study. Data collection used interviews and focus group discussions (FGD) methods. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The technique used to analyze the data was a descriptive qualitative analysis of data analysis by Miles and Huberman. The results of this study were as follows. First, fathers still carry out learning activities but do not leave their duties as a father. Second, fathers still take the time to present themselves to their children by accompanying them to activities. Third, the responsibility given by the father to the child is indeed more dominant in financial terms. Fourth, fathers’ activities when they are with their children are various ways. It was concluded that fathers still made time for their children during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia still has problems that occur, especially the behavior of separation anxiety from attachment figures, this was found from observations by researchers, which are influenced by self and environmental factors. This study aims to analyze the effect of the PAIKEM-based Shaping technique with Positive Reinforcement on separation anxiety in early childhood. This type of research was a single case experimental design which was carried out in three phases, namely the baseline phase (A1), the intervention phase (B) and the baseline phase (A2). The subject in this study was one child in group A. Collecting research data on children's separation anxiety behavior used observation and interview methods with an observation checklist sheet instrument. The research data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis methods and the data presented visually (visual inspection) in graphical form. The results of data analysis showed that there was a decrease in the frequency of separation anxiety and an increase in the frequency of children's anxiety from the baseline phase (A1) with an average of 6 to 14.18 in the intervention phase (B) and an increase in the frequency of children's independence during the PAIKEM-based positive reinforcement technique intervention. prohibited (A2) with an average of 18.7. Based on the results of this study it can be interpreted that the PAIKEM-based positive reinforcement technique has had an effect on reducing children's separation anxiety.

Abstract

Parental affection shown inappropriately can hinder or limit children's activities and movements, so that children cannot explore freely and develop their imagination and creativity. This research aims to determine the significant influence of using e-scrapbook media on the creativity of group B children. This type of research is a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study was all 42 children from Group B, Denpasar. The research sample was taken using a saturated sampling technique because all population members were used as samples. Group B2, consisting of 21 children, was selected as the experimental group, and Group B1, consisting of 21 children, was selected as the control group. The data collection method used is a non-test method, namely observation using an assessment instrument for children's work based on a creativity assessment rubric. This research uses descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics. The results of this study show that the average post-test score in the experimental group was 82.57, while in the control group, it was 63, with a maximum score of 100. The t-test results showed a significant difference in the creativity of children taught using e-scrapbook media and those taught using conventional learning. It was concluded that the use of e-scrapbook media had a significant effect on the creativity of group B children.
