Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Calang selama tiga bulan sejak bulan Juli sampai September 2016 bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar melalui keefektifan teknik Numbered Heads Together (NHT) materi pengetahuan dasar pemetaan bagi siswa kelas X 2S 1 SMA Negeri 1 Calang tahun pelajaran 2016/ 2017. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri atas 2 siklus. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa-siswi Kelas X 2S 1 SMA Negeri 1 Calang tahun pelajaran 2016/ 2017 sebanyak 21 siswa. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif komparatif dan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Pada penelitian diperoleh hasil tes pada siklus I  dengan persentase ketuntasan 66,67 % nilai rata-rata kelas 74,52 dan meningkat pada hasil tes siklus 2 sebesar 90,47 % dengan nilai rata-rata kelas 83,09. Pada kedua siklus ini terjadi perubahan aktifitas dan perolehan nilai yang signifikan bila dibandingkan dengan hasil tes pra siklus dengan persentase ketuntasan 33,33 % dengan nilai rata-rata kelas 66,90. Dengan demikian melalui teknik Numbered Heads Together (NHT) efektif dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar geografi pada materi pengetahuan dasar pemetaan bagi siswa kelas X 2S 1 SMA Negeri 1 Calang tahun pelajaran 2016/ 2017.Kata Kunci:  Keefektifan Model Cooperative Learning Teknik Numbered Heads Together (NHT), Pengetahuan Dasar Pemetaan.This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Calang for three months from July to September 2016 aimed at improving activities and learning outcomes through the effectiveness of the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) technique for basic knowledge of mapping for students of class X 2S 1 SMA Negeri 1 Calang in the  academic year 2016/ 2017. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) which consists of 2 cycles. The subjects of the research were the students of Class X 2S 1 SMA Negeri 1 Calang in the 2016/2017 academic year as many as 21 students. Data analysis used comparative descriptive analysis techniques and qualitative descriptive analysis. In the study, the test results obtained in the first cycle with a completeness percentage of 66.67%, the class average value of 74.52 and an increase in the second cycle test results by 90.47% with an average grade of 83.09. In these two cycles there was a significant change in activity and score when compared to the results of the pre-cycle test with a completeness percentage of 33.33% with a class average of 66.90. Thus, through the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) technique, it can effectively increase the activity and learning outcomes of geography in the basic knowledge of mapping for students of class X 2S 1 SMA Negeri 1 Calang in the 2016/2017 academic year.Keywords: Effectiveness of Cooperative Learning Model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Technique, Basic Knowledge of Mapping
