It could be shaped by using the activator-behaviour-consequence (ABC) method that can be influenced by forming behaviour factors (knowledge, training, and supervision and positive reinforcement). The aim of this research was to analyze the association between forming behaviour factors with the compliance of wearing ear protector. This was an observational analytic study with cross sectional approach with 18 workers in maintenance section of PLTD Ampenan as sample. Data were collected through questionnaire, interview, and observation. Data were analyzed used pearson chi-square and fisher exact test to obtain the association between variables. The results showed that most of the workers (72.2%) in maintenance section of PLTD Ampenan had the compliance of wearing ear protector. There were significant correlation between knowledge, training, supervision, and positive reinforcement with the compliance of wearing ear protector. Supervision has a very strong correlation (coefficent 1,000). The more workers feel himself under supervision, the better their behaviour will be. It is recommended that the company can perform all forming behaviour factors especially improve the supervision method in order to make all workers have the compliance of wearing ear protector. Keywords: forming behaviour factor, safe behaviour, ABC method

Abstract

Cultural history of some places is sometimes difficult to recognize its original culture, one of which is due to transformation of some buildings in the area. Because of that, the origin will be spoiled and forgotten because local cultural shift is an inevitable social phenomenon. Cultural and historical tours through walking tours are one of ways to keep the story of a region unabated. Besides, the benefit of walking tours is also being a positive cultural exchange between local communities and visitors. Cirebon was a small village built by King of Tapa. In the course of time, it grew into a large village and it was named Caruban (means united according to the mixture of nations and other tribes such as Java, Chinese, and Arabic from Javanese Language). The goal of walking tour in context of cultural tourism is to remember, introduce, and promote original culture of an area in Cirebon City.

Abstract

The development of sustainable and eco-friendly tourism is crucial in the current global environmental crisis. The PIK 2 area in North Jakarta has the potential to become an eco friendly tourist destination, but proper planning and strategy are required. This research aims to analyze the initial planning and develop an eco-friendly tourism strategy in PIK 2. The research method consists of feasibility studies, field observations, and in-depth interviews. The analysis shows that PIK 2 has the potential to become a leading tourist destination, but challenges like infrastructure, community engagement, and environmental sustainability need to be addressed effectively. With the right strategy, PIK 2 can provide economic, social, and environmental benefits to local communities and visitors. Based on the analysis, an eco-friendly tourism development strategy was developed in PIK 2, which includes: 1) institutional strengthening; 2) sustainable development with ecological principles; 3) an education program on the importance of environmental conservation; 4) implementation of green development concepts in infrastructure and supporting facilities; 5) promotion and marketing of sustainable tourism; and 6) regular evaluation and monitoring. The implementation of this strategy is expected to realize PIK 2 as a competitive eco-friendly tourist destination and bring long-term benefits to the community and the surrounding environment.
