<![CDATA[Abstrak Pengkajian ini bertujuan sebagai pengamatan terhadap faktor yang mempengaruhi tata kelola perusahaan dalam perbankan agar dapat meningkatkan kinerja keuangan sehingga berdampak terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data sekunder. Data yang dikumpulkan diuji dengan Regresi Panel Data untuk membuktikan hipotesis. Variabel independen terdiri atas Board Size, Board Independence, Board Ownership, Female Board, dan Ownership of CEO; dan variabel dependen yaitu variabel Return on Assets. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel Board Size merupakan faktor tata kelola yang berpengaruh positif dan signifkan terhadap Return on Assets. Sedangkan, Board Independence, Board Ownership, Female Board, dan Ownership of CEO tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Return on Assets. Kata Kunci: Board Size, Board Independence, Board Ownership, Female Board, Ownership of CEO, Return on Assets Abstract This assessment aims to observe the factors that affect corporate governance in the banking industry to improve financial performance so that it has an impact on Indonesia's economic growth. In this study, quantitative methods were used with secondary data collection techniques. The collected data is tested with Data Panel Regression to prove the hypothesis. Independent variables consist of Board Size, Board Independence, Board Ownership, Female Board, and Ownership of CEO; and the dependent variable is the Return on Assets variable. The results showed that the Board Size variable is a governance factor that has a positive and significant effect on Return on Assets. Meanwhile, Board Independence, Board Ownership, Female Board, and Ownership of CEO do not have a significant influence on Return on Assets.
