<![CDATA[This study is a study to determine the differences in the socio-emotional development of children aged 4-5 years with their parents and other caregivers. The main purpose of this study was to determine whether there are differences in the social emotional development of children aged 4-5 years with their parents and other caregivers. The method used in this research is comparative quantitative, with the research location in Kindergarten in Rajapolah District. The sample in this study were caregivers of children who attend kindergarten in Rajapolah District, Tasikmalaya Regency with the provisions of caregivers as parents and caregivers as other people. A comparative study was conducted using the Mann Whitney U-Test because the data obtained were not normally distributed and not homogeneous. After analyzing and processing the data, it was stated that there was no difference in the social and emotional development of early childhood with their parents and other caregivers. This is based on tests conducted with the Mann Whitney U-Test test with the acquisition of Sig. (2-tailde) 0.756 and determined based on the basis of decision making that if the value of sig 0.05 then the hypothesis is accepted, otherwise if the value of sig 0.05 then the hypothesis is rejected. Based on these results, it can be concluded that who cares for children is not the main thing that can affect the process of growth and development of children, but the parenting style provided by parents and other adults is something that needs to be considered.Penelitian ini adalah penelitian untuk mengetahui perbedaan perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia 4-5 tahun dengan pengasuh orang tua dan pengasuh orang lain. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia 4-5 tahun dengan pengasuh orang tua dan pengasuh orang lain. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif komparatif, dengan lokasi penelitian di TK Se-Kecamatan Rajapolah. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah pengasuh anak yang bersekolah di TK se-Kecamatan Rajapolah Kabupaten Tasikmalaya dengan ketentuan pengasuh sebagai orang tua dan pengasuh sebagai orang lain. Studi komparatif dilakukan dengan uji Mann Whitney U-Test karena data yang didapatkan tidak berdistribusi normal dan tidak homogen. Setelah dilakukan analisis dan pengolahan data maka dinyatakan tidak ada perbedaan perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia dini dengan pengasuh orang tua dan pengasuh orang lain. Hal ini berdasarkan pengujian yang dilakukan dengan uji Mann Whitney U-Test dengan perolehan nilai Sig. (2-tailde) 0,756 dan ditetapkan berdasarkan dasar pengambilan keputusan bahwa apabila nilai sig 0,05 maka hipotesis diterima, sebaliknya apabila nilai sig 0,05 maka hipotesis ditolak. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa siapa yang mengasuh anak bukan hal utama yang dapat mempengaruhi proses tumbuh dan kembang anak, melainkan gaya asuh yang diberikan orang tua dan orang dewasa lainnya merupakan hal yang perlu diperhatikan.]]>
