The practicality of transdisciplinary-based educational administration teaching materials can be seen from the students' learning activities during the learning process which have increased from the first observation to the second observation with the aspects observed. The practical and effective category for improving student learning outcomes with the N-Gain coefficient is 0.55 in the medium category. With the results of this research, lecturers are able to apply transdisciplinary-based teaching materials in other courses and can design/develop the required learning tools themselves by paying attention to the components of the teaching materials and the characteristics of the teaching materials to be developed.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of work teams and work motivation on teachers’ work commitment, with job satisfaction acting as a mediating variable, at State Islamic Senior High Schools (Madrasah Aliyah Negeri) in Langkat Regency, Indonesia. Employing a quantitative ex post facto design, data were collected from 191 teachers selected through proportional random sampling. The research instruments consisted of validated and reliable Likert-scale questionnaires, and the data were analyzed using path analysis with SPSS. The findings reveal that work teams and work motivation have significant positive effects on job satisfaction and work commitment. Job satisfaction emerges as the most dominant predictor of work commitment and significantly mediates the relationship between work teams, work motivation, and work commitment. Collectively, work teams, work motivation, and job satisfaction explain 78% of the variance in teachers’ work commitment. These results support the Integrated Model of Organizational Behavior, emphasizing the importance of both individual and organizational factors in fostering teacher commitment. The study highlights the need for strengthening collaborative work cultures, enhancing motivation, and improving job satisfaction to sustain teachers’ commitment and improve the quality of education in Islamic secondary schools.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of leadership behavior, quality of work life, and work motivation on lecturer performance at IAIN Takengon. Using a quantitative ex post facto research design, data were collected from 97 lecturers through structured questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and path analysis. The results indicate that leadership behavior and quality of work life have significant direct effects on both work motivation and lecturer performance. Work motivation emerges as the strongest predictor of lecturer performance and also functions as a significant mediating variable in the relationships between leadership behavior and performance, as well as between quality of work life and performance. The simultaneous analysis shows that leadership behavior, quality of work life, and work motivation jointly explain a substantial proportion of the variance in lecturer performance. These findings highlight the importance of effective leadership practices, supportive working conditions, and sustained motivation in enhancing lecturer performance in higher education institutions. The study contributes to the existing literature by providing empirical evidence of an integrated model that explains lecturer performance through the interaction of organizational and psychological factors within the context of Islamic higher education

Abstract

This study aims to examine the quality of Tri Dharma of Higher Education implementation and the role of lecturer professional development in improving lecturer performance at two private Islamic higher education institutions: Institut Syekh Abdul Halim Hasan Binjai and Institut Jamiyah Mahmudiyah Langkat. A qualitative approach with a multi-site study design was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with institutional leaders, lecturers, and LP2M administrators, classroom and academic activity observations, and document analysis, including lesson plans, lecturer performance reports, research publications, and community service records. The findings indicate that the implementation of Tri Dharma in the areas of teaching, research, and community service has been carried out systematically and in alignment with national higher education regulations. Lecturer professional development programs—such as training, workshops, research mentoring, and performance evaluation systems—significantly contribute to enhancing teaching quality, research productivity, and community engagement. Despite institutional differences in implementation strategies, both institutions demonstrate that strong institutional commitment and lecturers’ intrinsic motivation are critical determinants of sustainable Tri Dharma performance. This study highlights the strategic importance of lecturer professional development in strengthening academic quality and institutional competitiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership, school culture, organizational communication, and academic supervision on improving teacher performance in schools, with academic supervision as an intervening variable. This study uses a quantitative approach through survey methods and path analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that leadership has a direct effect on academic supervision (6.1%), school culture (9.7%), and organizational communication (3.0%). Furthermore, leadership has a direct effect on teacher performance (16.8%), school culture (6.2%), organizational communication (9.0%), and academic supervision (8.1%). The indirect effect through academic supervision is relatively small, namely leadership by 2.1%, school culture by 2.2%, and organizational communication by 1.5%. This indicates that the role of academic supervision as a mediating variable is still weak. Simultaneously, leadership, school culture, organizational communication, and academic supervision account for 56.5% of improvements in teacher performance, while other factors outside the research model account for 43.5%. Based on these findings, this study develops a new conceptual model, namely the Direct Influence Dominance-Based Teacher Performance Model (MKG-DPL), which confirms that improvements in teacher performance are more strongly influenced by direct strengthening of organizational variables than by mediation mechanisms.
