Abstract

Employee performance is very influential to the success of a company, especially a company based in the field of multi-level marketing (MLM) in which a person in demand hard to be able to use their emotional intelligence in order to get satisfactory results for their customers. The purpose of this study to determine the relationship of emotional intelligence with performance on the distributor of multi level marketing (MLM). This study used a quantitative approach. The variables of this study was emotional intelligence as an independent variable (X) and the interpretation of the work as the dependent variable (Y). The Sampling techniques was 100distributors through proposive sampling based on predetermined criteria. Process analysis using Pearson product moment correlation analysis performed using SPSS-17 For Windouws. Results of correlation (Pearson correlation) obtained = 0689 and p <0.05 (0.000 <0.05), which means that there was a relationship of emotional intelligence with work performance distributors of Multi Level Marketing.

Abstract

Women are the group most severely affected by poverty, especially in case of food insecurity. As a result of these conditions, pregnant mothers could malnutrition that can potentially give birth in poor mental or health condition. Poverty reduction is not merely the issue of capital and technical skills, but also how to evoke the feeling of being able to overcome problems of their lives in a dignified manner. Empowerment of poor women do in order to find the effort that poor women can actively participate in any activities for poverty alleviation. This study aims to assess community participation, particularly of women to poverty alleviation efforts based on empowerment. This research was descriptive-exploratory using primary data sources from interviews and secondary data sources of written documents on the implementation of the Programme P3EL in Sidoarjo. Subjects were members P3EL program in 2012 and the BPMPKB (particularly the PUE) as the implementing program. The results showed that the model of participation of members to poverty alleviation efforts based on the empowerment of women through P3EL program were in the form of energy, thoughts, and cooperation. While the participation factors underlying were egoism motivation and collectivism.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara konsep diri dengan kepercayaan diri pada remaja putri di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan X di Porong. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif korelasional. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah remaja putri dari SMK X yang berjumlah 247 siswi. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 148 siswa. Adapun alat ukur yang digunakan mengadopsi pada penelitian terdahulu yang terdiri atas alat ukur konsep diri dan alat ukur kepercayaan diri yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan penelitian dan telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisa data yang digunakan adalah pearson correlation product moment dengan menggunakan software SPSS versi 26. Hasil analisa data yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara konsep diri dengan kepercayaan diri (r-.408, p<.001). Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa konsep diri berkorelasi positif dengan kepercayaan diri yang menandakan semakin tinggi konsep diri dari siswa putri, maka akan semakin tinggi pula tingkatan kepercayaan diri yang siswa putri miliki begitu pula sebaliknya.
