Abstract

Salah satu bentuk pemanfaatan teknologi tanpa kabel yaitu hotspot. Metode dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengembangkan jaringan hotspot di SMK Negeri 5 Waingapu adalah model Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC). Adapun yang menjadi tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan sebuah penggunaan router mikrotik sebagai jaringan hotspot untuk membantu menstabilkan penggunaan jaringan yang ada.. Hasil pengujian menggunakan speedtest sebelum implementasi yaitu kecepatam downlaod sebesar 4.55 dan upload sebesar 1.09. Dan setelah adanya penerapan manajemen bandwidth untuk hotspot user guru yaitu untuk bandwidth download sebesar 0.95 Mbps dan bandwidth upload sebesar 0.21 Mbps, lalu untuk hotspot user kepala sekolah bandwidth download sebesar 0.94 Mbps dan bandwidth upload sebesar 0.94 Mbps serta bandwidth download hotspot user untuk siswa sebesar 0.73 Mbps dan upload sebesar 0.94 Mbps. Pada jaringan hotspot yang di terapkan dilakukan pengujian menggunakan QoS untuk nilai throughput sebelum implementasi sebesar 684 Kbps dan sesudah implementasi sebesar 148 Kbps, perhitungan packet loss sebelum implementasi sebesar 0,1 % dan sesudah implementasi sebesar 0%, dan hasil perhitungan delay sebelum implementasi sebesar 4.58 m/s dan sesudah implementasi sebesar 0.09 m/s.

Abstract

Thesis at the Wira Wacana Christian University Sumba Animal Husbandry Study Program involves the stages of submitting a title, registering for a proposal exam, and a thesis exam. This process currently uses Google Forms, with result announcements via WhatsApp, creating inconsistencies and taking a long time. Changing the thesis title requires additional steps, such as students having to come to campus to remove the old title after it is rejected. Challenges also arise in tracking the frequency of tutoring, especially with large student numbers. This research aims to develop an effective solution by applying the Extreme Programming (XP) method in developing web-based applications. Based on the System Usability Scale (SUS) test, this application received a usability score of 80.2%, making it suitable for use. The successful implementation of this web application makes a positive contribution in improving the quality and efficiency of thesis management in the Wira Wacana Christian University Sumba Animal Husbandry Study Program.

Abstract

This research emphasizes the importance of health for every individual, as good health facilitates daily activities. One crucial aspect of health is physical health, which includes being free from various diseases. With the increasing public interest in traditional medicine, the information regarding the public's knowledge about traditional medicine also needs to be enhanced. Therefore, this research aims to develop a mobile-based traditional medicine information system at UPKM/CD Bethesda YAKKUM as an information medium for the wider community. The method used for system development in this research is the waterfall method, which involves stages such as concept, design, data collection, creation, and testing. The developed application is a mobile-based traditional medicine information system, designed to help introduce traditional medicine in Indonesia. This application is designed to be easily accessible without the need to worry about internet connection or data charges, and it can be used in various regions. The result of this research is a mobile-based information system application that provides information about traditional medicine for various diseases. This application includes information on types of medicinal plants, their benefits, and explanatory videos, making it easier for the public to learn about and understand traditiona l medicine.

Abstract

Furniture has high added value and significant global competitiveness, largely due to the diversity of natural raw materials available in Indonesia, such as wood, rattan, and bamboo, as well as distinctive and high-quality designs. This advantage is supported by the skills and competence of the available human resources, making Indonesian furniture superior to products from other countries. Product quality is a key element in winning market competition, as it impacts customer satisfaction and loyalty. Masnur Joglo, a furniture company located on Jl. Muara Karya, specializes in producing various types of furniture from high-quality woods such as super mahogany and red teak. However, the purchasing system, which requires customers to visit the store directly and manually record prices, results in inefficiencies in terms of time and transportation costs. Customers often need to visit multiple stores to find the desired product, which is an inefficient process. To address these challenges, this study proposes the development of an Android-based sales application as a solution. This application is designed to expand Masnur Joglo's market reach and facilitate online ordering of furniture products, anytime and anywhere. The study aims to design and develop an Android-based sales information system that can enhance operational efficiency and streamline the sales process while better meeting customer needs. The application development method employs the waterfall model and uses MySQL and Firebase databases.

Abstract

The impact of internet cut off or disrupted at SD Inpres Papindung, the teachers will have difficulty finding teaching materials and may have to return to traditional methods that are less effective. Updating Dapodik data will also be disrupted, which could affect school administration and evaluation. The unavailability of an internet connection does occur due to technical reasons or due to intentional elements, one of which is the use of Yersinia software. Yersinia is a piece of software that is commonly used to attack available networks by sending fake MAC addresses continuously so that the IP address on the DHCP server runs out, so that the client does not get an IP address which causes the client unable to access the internet. This attack are called DHCP Starvation Attack. This can be prevented using Bridge Filtering method. Bridge Filtering can filter only recognized MAC addresses to transmit data or can request an IP address from the DHCP server, while MAC addresses that are not recognized or foreign devices will not be allowed to request from that port or will not receive an IP address from the DHCP server. The aim of implementing Bridge Filtering is to measure the creativity of the Bridge Filtering method in preventing DHCP Starvation Attack attacks so that clients who want to connect to the network can access the internet and improve network quality at SD Inpres Papindung.The results show that the Bridge Filtering method effective in preventing DHCP Starvation Attacks and improves network quality at SD Inpres Papindung which is shown by an increase of throughput, before implementation it was 794.66 Kbps and after implementation it was 1283.70 Kbps, there was a decrease of delay from 6.89 ms before implementation to 4.06 ms after implementation. There was also a decrease in jitter before implementation 10.56 ms and after implementation 6.05 ms, but caused an increase in packet loss which was 0.30% before implementation and after implementation increased to 0.79%. Of the four variables, all of them remain at the same level except for the throughput variable, where there is a change from the fair category to the good category, so that it has an impact on the quality of the internet network at SD Inpres Papindung after implementing Bridge Filtering which is stated to be better than before implementing Bridge Filtering on the internet network at SD Inpres Papindung.

Abstract

Semaphore is a communication method used to send and receive messages by utilizing flags, paddles, sticks, bare hands, or gloves. Semaphore signaling is commonly used in scouting activities (Pramuka). However, novice scouts often face difficulties in accurately recognizing semaphore gestures. Although guidebooks are available, errors may still occur, especially when learning independently. To address this issue, a gesture detection system using the Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP) method and MediaPipe framework is proposed, which aims to evaluate the accuracy of MLP and MediaPipe in detecting semaphore poses. To assess the performance of the MLP model, a Confusion Matrix is used to analyze the number of correct and incorrect predictions and generate metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. The evaluation results show that the system successfully recognized 122 poses correctly, achieving an accuracy of 93.84%, precision of 93.84%, recall of 100%, and an F1-score of 96.80%. Based on these results, the system is considered sufficiently accurate and can be used as an interactive learning tool to recognize semaphore codes, particularly in scouting activities.

Abstract

Penyakit Sura, yang disebabkan oleh parasit Trypanosoma evansi, merupakan penyakit endemik yang menyerang kuda di Kabupaten Sumba Timur. Dampaknya sangat serius terhadap sektor peternakan karena diagnosis masih dilakukan secara manual melalui pemeriksaan mikroskopik oleh tenaga ahli. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem pendeteksian otomatis berbasis citra mikroskopik darah kuda menggunakan metode Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). Dataset terdiri atas 200 citra darah yang terbagi merata antara kondisi normal dan terinfeksi. Data divalidasi oleh dokter hewan, kemudian melalui proses preprocessing berupa konversi ke grayscale, normalisasi, dan resize ke ukuran 128x128 piksel. Arsitektur CNN terdiri dari dua lapisan konvolusi, pooling, dan fully connected dengan dropout. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan akurasi pelatihan 100% dan akurasi validasi mencapai 97,5%. Evaluasi menggunakan confusion matrix dan classification report menunjukkan hasil sempurna tanpa kesalahan klasifikasi. Temuan ini menunjukkan potensi CNN sebagai solusi diagnosa cepat dan akurat. Sistem ini dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut sebagai aplikasi berbasis web atau mobile.

Abstract

The development of technology in Indonesia, particularly in the field of education, has made rapid progress through the integration of information systems. This system has become a crucial element in managing educational data and information, including student data, class schedules, and attendance records. However, challenges arise in the management of the library at SMP Negeri 1 Umalulu, which still relies on a manual book borrowing system, potentially leading to errors in data validation. This research responds to these challenges by developing a web-based book borrowing information system using the CodeIgniter framework and the waterfall development method. The main goal is to enhance the efficiency of book management and facilitate the book borrowing and returning processes. The implementation of the new system is expected to reduce errors in manual recording and create a more structured and responsive library environment for visitors. The resulting information system is anticipated to have a positive impact on library management efficiency, enrich the reader's experience, and improve information access. Thanks to the developers and all involved parties for the successful implementation of this system. Hopefully, this achievement will inspire further technological advancements in the education sector, providing additional benefits and fostering a better learning environment.
