Abstract

Composite material is a combination of two or more materials that produce new properties of the material. This test will be developed for composite reinforcing fibers by using a type of natural fiber that is ramie fiber. This research aims to determine the characteristics of the mechanical properties of the material by density and pressure tests. Density testing aims to determine the value of mass in water, mass in air and density of material. Compressive testing aims to obtain mechanical values, especially the strength and resistance of composite materials to compressive loads. Experiments to be carried out are the manufacture of ramie fiber reinforced composites with 1, 2 and 3 fiber layer variations using the Lycal matrix using the Hand Lay Up method by placing the fiber in a mold and then smearing it with resin. Density testing is performed using a Gravity Meter Balance Densimeter and compressive testing using Universal Testing Mechine (UTM). Based on the results of density testing and compressive testing, ramie fiber composites are lightweight and ductility. In accordance with the nature of the material required on the aircraft that is light and strong, the ramie fiber composite which has lighter properties is a variation of layer 3 fiber with a density value of 0.8504 g/cm3, a composite which has a higher ductility is a variation of layer 2 fiber with strain value 1,849%, and composites which have lower stiffness properties are composites of layer 1 variation with elastic modulus value of 6776.84 MPa. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana praktikum fluida dengan pembuatan modul berbasis website mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan IPA Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan. Enam puluh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan IPA menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini, dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling, yaitu metode pengambilan sampel yang bersifat non-probabilitas, dengan menggunakan tes, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Nilai t-tabel untuk skor motivasi belajar pada T-test adalah 2.04841, sedangkan t hitung adalah 45.612. Berdasarkan temuan ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai t tabel lebih kecil dari t hitung, yang mengarah pada penolakan H0. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dipengaruhi oleh kegiatan praktikum fleksibel yang menggunakan modul berbasis website.

Abstract

Kunci utama penguasaan beragai keterampilan yang penting di abad ke-21 ini adalah literacy skill salah satunya literasi matematis yang memadai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan literasi matematis siswa pada materi geometri berdasarkan dimensi proses kognitif ‘analisis’ taksonomi Bloom Revisi. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VII-F. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis metode penelitian deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data yakni dengan tes literasi matematis dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat siswa dengan kemampuan tinggi dengan skor 88-100 sebanyak 15 siswa, sedangkan siswa dengan kemampuan sedang dengan skor 70 sebanyak 5 siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of argumentation skills among students at MTsN 1 Surabaya on the subject of Earth and the Solar System. This study is quantitative descriptive in nature. The respondents in this study were 31 students in class VII-D. Data were collected through a 10-question scientific argumentatiom skills test validated by science teachers. The results of the argumentation skills research at MTsN 1 Surabaya showed that the percentage of the claim indicator was 80.64%, indicating that students were good at making claims. The evidence indicator, with a percentage of 58.17%, was classified as adequate, while the warrant indicator, with a percentage of 48.17%, was classified as inadequate. Differences in the quality of arguments may occur due to differences in the ability to construct structured arguments based on scientific concepts and limited understanding, which makes it difficult for students to connect claims with evidence and warrants.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of fluid practicum by creating website-based modules on learning motivation and conceptual understanding of students in the Science Education Study Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Sunan Ampel State Islamic University, Surabaya. The sample in this research was 60 students of the Science Education Study Program. The sampling technique uses non-probability sampling, namely purposive sampling. The research instruments used were observation, documentation and tests. The results of the T-test on learning motivation scores obtained a t-table value of 1.70113 while the t count was 41.573. From these results it can be concluded that the t table value < t calculated so that H0 is rejected, then there is an influence of fluid practicum activities by creating website-based modules on student learning motivation. The T test results from the pretest and posttest values obtained a t-table value of 1.70113 while the tcount was 48.612. From these results it can be concluded that the t table value < t calculated so that H0 is rejected, then there is an influence of fluid practicum activities by creating website-based modules on student understanding.
