Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has an impact on the stability of the community’s economic welfare and the loss of job opportunities, many people are trying to find opportunities for entrepreneurship during this pandemic by utilizing waste into valuable goods. Kokedama is a planting technique from Japan that can replace the use of pots or can also be called the art of planting without pots,an alternative to indoor plants that have a high product selling value because they have a more attractive appearance. The purpose of this training is to provide skills to make kokedama to improve the economy of the Pajagan Village community, Lebak Banten Regency. The methods used in this training are the delivery of materials, the practice of making kokedama, and evaluation of training activities. Overall, the results of community responses to the material from this training activity stated that 100% of the training participants did not know KOkedama, 70% of participants were satisfied with the Kokedama training, and 60% of participants stated that the time used was quite efficient for training and practice. The skills that have been obtained are expected to improve the economy of the Pajagan Village community through planting ornamentall plants with the Kokedama technique by utilizing coconut fiber waste

Abstract

Technological developments affect all aspects, including the educational aspect. The use of this technology can go hand in hand with how educators or teachers create a learning method so that it can affect the effectiveness of the learning process. SDN 1 Ciuyah Lebak Banten has facilities for using technology for learning, but this technology has not been utilized by teachers to be used in the learning process while the role of the teacher must continue to create creative and innovative learning methods, so that the knowledge that will be transferred to students can be successful. One of them is the use of Canva in the learning process. This service activity uses three stages, namely preparation, implementation and evaluation. As a result of this dedication, the use of Canva-based technology in learning provides knowledge and skills to teachers so that they can increase success in the learning process. The importance of training that supports teacher effectiveness in teaching should be gradual because it takes a lot of time to directly apply the use of Canva

Abstract

Nowadays, integration of technology through digital literacy in English instruction is demanded highly, but in practice, digital material like electronic modules still lacks investigation, especially in the ESP context. Therefore, this qualitative study tries to describe the digital literacy demand related to the material in ESP teaching and the implementation of digitalized based ESP material to facilitate law students’ digital literacy. 25 law students were involved as participants, with the questionnaires and interviews as the primary data and class observation as the secondary data. The results reveal that ESP language-teaching process demands digitalized material which facilitates the students’ needs in enhancing their English skills by exploring authentic learning sources digitally. The implementation of the English for Law e-module facilitates students’ digital literacy, especially in accessing the digital material in the e-module by 70% of the whole participants, 57,7 % of students use their digital literacy for finishing the lectures assignment, and 74% of students able to overcome their digital obstacle independently. The finding recommends the utilization of digitalized material based on e-module to cultivate the students’ digital literacy in ESP instruction.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the rapid development of technology and information based on IT and is increasingly widely known by the general public, starting from information media which was initially only used on paper media, now moving to computerized media. Almost all companies, organizations, institutions, hospitals and government agencies require fast, precise and accurate data and information management in improving their performance, one of which is a clinic in which there is also information management. The purpose of this study is to analyze and examine the benefits of implementing management accounting information and performance measurement methods on the use of an E-Clinic based on a computerized application system for improving operational performance and reporting Rahima's clinic. The research method uses quantitative methods, using SPPS as a data processing tool. The results of this study are the accounting information system has a positive influence on the use of e-clinic applications. The effect of using the performance measurement method has a positive effect on the application of e-clinic applications.).
