Abstract

The industrial revolution 4.0 is a condition where there are very significant changes in industrial processes carried out by humans.Digital technology's rapid development in the industrial sector, which has accelerated industrial processes, is a defining feature of this shift. The available Human Resources (HR) must, on the other hand, be able to adapt to these changes in order to keep up with global competition in the industrial world because the industrial revolution has replaced human labor. The capital available in Indonesian ports is sufficient to implement industry 4.0.Preparing human resources through secondary and higher education is the first step in developing national capability in maritime education, followed by mastery and application of marine science and technology. This capability can be realized by increasing research and development capacity and providing scholarships for maritime technical schools. The existence of Belawan Port will have a significant impact on aspects of the community's socioeconomic life as a result of the increasing visibility of its activities. The advancement of these local area exercises can't be isolated from the effect of port exercises.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this paper is to find out the role of sea toll ships in supporting logistics distribution in disadvantaged areas by PT. Subsea Lintas Globalindo Tanjung Perak Surabaya branch. The methods used in data collection are the field method through observation, as well as the library research method, to understand the extent of the sea toll ship operated by PT. Subsea Lintas Globalindo Tanjung Perak Surabaya Branch contributes to smoothing the flow of logistics distribution to disadvantaged areas, especially in Eastern Indonesia. The results of the study show that sea toll ships play a strategic role in reducing the disparity in the price of goods, increasing logistics accessibility, and supporting equitable development and economic growth in remote areas. The obstacles faced include uncertain weather factors, limited port infrastructure, and coordination that still needs to be strengthened between related institutions. Therefore, better synergy is needed between the government, ship operators, and other stakeholders, including the private sector and local communities, to optimize the benefits of the sea toll program in a sustainable manner, improve distribution efficiency, and support equitable distribution of welfare throughout Indonesia.

Abstract

Indonesia is known as a maritime nation, with most of its territory being water and consisting of islands. Therefore, sea transportation is crucial for connecting the islands throughout Indonesia. One such means of sea transportation is ships. Ships are a common means of communication at sea. A shipping company operates its ships from one port to another, requiring the company to manage the ships it operates at the ports they call at. This involves managing all the ship's needs, from the ship's arrival, while at the port, to its departure. The purpose of the author's observation was to determine the role of the agency in handling ship arrivals and departures at PT. Adhigana Pratama Mulya, Belawan Branch. The theoretical basis used by the author in this observation was books, the internet, laws, ministerial regulations, and other sources. The type of observation used by the author was descriptive qualitative. This observation took place at PT. Adhigana Pratama Mulya, Belawan Branch. Data sources were obtained from informants, events or activities, documents, and archives.
