Abstract

Lembang is located 30 kilometers from Bandung city, in fact, Lembang is one of the area which has earthquake gristle. Pursuant to result of remote sensing image that Lembang area passed by a long normal fault. Lembang Fault represent most potential for rock movement, this matter is caused by fault path represent a place that waving the earthquake. If the earthquake happen, the area along fault zone experience of bigger vibration. Strategic location which reside in in Lembang fault zona are Lembang Town, Market place, touris location of Maribaya, settlement area and etcetera.

Abstract

The Pre-Tertiary Melange is the oldest rocks outcrop that found in Ciletuh area. Stratigraphically, this mélange is basement rock that overlaid unconformity by Tertiary sedimentary rocks, i.e. Ciletuh and Jampang FormationThe outcropping mechanism of Pre-Tertiary rock in this area due to up-tilting, thrusting and folding that followed by sliding. Abstract

Tektonik Plio-plistosen menyebabkan terbentuknya pola lipatan dan pensesaran di daerah Sumedang. Salah satu struktur sesar yang berkembang di daerah ini adalah sesar Cinambo. Dari penafsiran peta topografi nampak adanya suatu kelurusan sungai Cinambo yang berarah utara timur laut-selatan baratdaya. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kekar gerus yang dijumpai di sepanjang Sungai Cinambo ini, diketahui ada beberapa sistem tegasan, namun demikian secara keseluruhan sistem tegasan pembentuk sesar ini seluruhnya menunjukan sifat kompresional dengan arah tegasan utama relatif utara-selatan. Sistem tegasan kompresional ini menunjukan gerak lateral yang ditunjukan oleh posisi tegasan menengah yang vertikal. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa sesar Cinambo merupakan sesar mendatar sinistral

Abstract

Geological structure of Muara Tebo area was influenced by subduction between Eurasian and India-Australian Plates. Regional tectonic of this area dominantly yield an amount of fault structure with orientation Northwest-Southeast.Structural pattern of study area dominated by dextral strike-slip and thrust fault, with orientation Northwest-Southeast. The dextral strike-slip fault represent the first structure formed (Early Tertiary) which influenced by transtensional stress. Further, on Neogene Tectonic period the structures influenced by tranversional stress system which affecting inversion. This late tectonic yield an amount of thrust fault.
