Abstract

High interaction in the nursing profession is an opportunity for conflict to arise at work. Internal or external disputes due to differences in ideas, values, or feelings between two or more people are conflicts that cannot be separated from the lives of nurses. The ER is a department that consists of various types of professionals, providing services to patients. High mobility and cooperation from various parties make conflicts often occur between staff. Therefore researchers want to conduct a literature study that aims to analyze conflict management strategies with a collaborative approach. This study uses the literature review method, using a database ProQuest, PubMed, ScienceDirect, Sage Journals dan Scopus. The search results obtained 176 journals after further analysis and obtained 14 articles that were reviewed with criteria discussing the topic of the concept of conflict management, the role, and function of managers in conflict, collaborative conflict management, collaborative conflict, collaboration in conflict, factors that influence the strategy for choosing a conflict management style with collaboration. The results of this literature study found that conflict resolution is carried out based on a person's characteristics and perceptions of conflict, and a collaboration style is chosen to resolve conflicts openly with one another and discuss existing problems. Differences in conflict management styles are influenced by several factors such as assumptions about conflict, emotional intelligence, individual personality, communication patterns in conflict interactions, and communication skills.

Abstract

Background. A Hospital Information System (SIMRS) that is made without good planning results in existing information being difficult to integrate, ineffective and inefficient and can result in losses for the organization. So that strategic planning is needed for hospitals as an organizational reference for achieving goals and objectives, thereby optimizing the achievement of objectives, placing the organization in an optimal position in a more competitive environment, assisting organizations in formulating a better strategy through a more systematic, logical approach. and rational.Objective. Describe the strategic plan for the Nursing Management Information System (SIMK) of RSU X, analyze the data, and make recommendations for developing a Nursing Management Information System (SIMK) strategic planning design.Method. Done with the case study method with an analytical approachStrength-Weakness-Opportunity-Threat (SWOT) and develop a strategy on the matrixThreat-Opportunity-Weakness-Strength (TOWS) and perspectivesBalance Score Card (BSC). Results. The results of the analysis of RSU X on the Internal External (IE) matrix, namelygrowth and build strategy where hospitals need strategies to grow better and be able to develop SIMK to get service optimization through perspectiveBalanced Score Card (BSC) andKey Performance Indicators (KPI) by setting the goals for the management and development of SIMRS-SIMK, the formation of competent and high-integrity nursing staff in the implementation of SIMRS-SIMK, optimizing the use of SIMRS that has beenbridging with the National Health Insurance system, the realization of SIMK which is integrated with SIMRS, the existence of internal policies that support the implementation of SIMK, increasing service quality and providing customer consulting services, providing patient satisfaction surveys onlineonline and integrated into all departments, availability of a list of Information and Technology (IT) risks that must be managed by the hospital, optimization of the SIMRS security system, and optimization of the SIMRS implementation monitoring and evaluation system in relation to quality and cost control.Conclusion. Hospital Information Systems that are integrated with Nursing Management Information Systems are the most important productivity factors in hospitals because they affect the performance and services provided by hospitals. Nursing Management Information Systems that are made with good planning will produce information that is integrated, effective, efficient, and directed. It is hoped that management can create a reliable SIMK and synergize with technological developments to increase professionalism.

Abstract

Preventing the risk of falls is important in the process of implementing patient safety in hospitals. The consequences if an injury occurs from a fall will increase the patient's morbidity rate, prolong the length of stay and will be detrimental to the patient and the hospital. Although the prevalence of injuries due to falls is high, this incident can be prevented by using an initial assessment of the patient's risk of falling. Where research shows that almost 33% of patient falls during hospitalization can be prevented by managing the patient's fall threat factors as well as managing the environment and care process. Objective: This case report aims to describe the implementation of planned changes in optimizing the implementation of fall risk prevention. Method: The method used is a case report. Data collection uses interviews, questionnaires and field observations. The results of data exploration are then analyzed using SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) and fishbone diagrams, then formulating a plan of action (PoA), followed by implementation and evaluation. Results: Implementation results were not optimal because it was necessary to evaluate fall risk guidelines, regular supervision programs and carry out clinical audits or case reflection discussions related to fall risk prevention. Recommendation: Lewin's theory of change approach can be continued by hospital management as a form of developing quality services.
