Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Siswa untuk meningkatkan kualitas belajar siswa, menggunakan pola pikir yang maksimal, menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang aktif dengan menerapkan problem solving pada LKS, dan menyenangkan pada pembelajaran Ekonomi di MA. Hasanah Kelas XI IPS. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (research and development). Dengn menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate). Prosedur penelitian dan pengembangan produk terdiri dari analisis kebutuhan/masalah, tahap pengembangan produk, tahap uji valid, tahap revisi, tahap uji coba. Validasi produk LKS dilakukan oleh dua orang dosen Pendidikan Ekonomi dan satu Guru Mata Pelajaran Ekonomi di MA Hasanah Pekanbaru. Uji coba dilakukan satu kali yaitu dilakukan dikelas XI IPS. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, angket, dokumentasi dan test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKS yang telah didesain mendapat presentase kevalidan ahli media sebesar 85%, kevalidan dari ahli materi berjumlah 89% dan praktikalitas guru 91% dengan respon dari siswa berjumlah 95%. Maka dari penilaian dan presentase Lembar Kerja Siswa tersebut layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran Ekonomi materi kerjasama ekonomi internasional bagi siswa kelas XI IPS MA. Abstract

Islamic Religious Education plays a highly strategic role in shaping the character of the younger generation to become morally upright, responsible, and possess high moral integrity. In this era of globalization, marked by rapid technological and informational advances, young people face increasingly complex challenges, including negative influences that threaten moral and spiritual values. Islamic Religious Education serves as a shield by instilling faith, piety, and noble character (akhlaq karimah) from an early age. This article aims to examine the urgency of Islamic education in character formation and to analyze effective approaches that can be applied within the family, school, and community environments. Through a qualitative method and literature review, it is found that the integration of religious knowledge, exemplary behavior, and spiritual practice can shape a holistic and competitively positive individual in society. Thus, Islamic Religious Education is a crucial foundation for producing a generation that excels not only intellectually but also morally and spiritually.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the integration of Islamic values in character education at SMPN 2 Rangsang Pesisir and its impact on students’ behavior and attitudes. The Islamic values analyzed include religiosity, honesty, discipline, responsibility, and mutual respect, which are implemented in the learning process and school culture. The research employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with the principal, Islamic Education teachers, and students, as well as documentation of school-related activities. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the integration of Islamic values at SMPN 2 Rangsang Pesisir has been implemented through classroom learning activities, habituation of worship practices, teachers’ role modeling, as well as religious programs and school regulations. This integration contributes positively to shaping students’ character, particularly in improving discipline, politeness, responsibility, and religious awareness. However, several challenges remain, such as the influence of the external environment and differences in students’ backgrounds, indicating the need for continuous efforts and collaboration among schools, teachers, and parents.
