Abstract

This study aims to determine the correlation between parental support and children's learning motivation while receiving online learning during covid-19 in Bengkulu City. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of correlation. The population of this study were students at SD Kota Bengkulu. The sample that the researchers used was 360 respondents. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. The steps in this study are data tabulation, validity test, reliability test, data description, normality test, hypothesis testing and conclusions. In this study concluded that: there is a positive and significant relationship between parental support learning motivation is based on the calculation of SPSS version 16 is equal to 0.501 and the results correlation rvaluecount is less than 0.05 then H0 is rejected and Ha accepted so that there is a correlation between parental support and student motivation. The correlation of 0.501 lies between 0.40-0.599, it can be concluded that there is a moderate correlation between parental support and student motivation while receiving online learning at SD Kota Bengkulu.   Keywords: parental support, children's learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of interactive media in discovery learning (DL) model in thematic learning, describe the activity and learning outcomes of learners with interactive media using DL model in learning in sixth grade VI SDN 62 Lebong. This type of research is classroom action research. The subjects of this study were teachers and students of sixth grade SDN 62 Lebong the research instruments used were observation sheets and evaluation tests. Observation data analysis techniques using the formula average score, highest score, lowest score, difference score and range of values for each criterion while the analysis of test data using the formula to find the average value and the percentage of completion of learning. The application of learning using the learning model Discovery Learning with interactive media runs smoothly and can improve the liveliness and learning outcomes of students proved by the results of the study showed the liveliness and learning outcomes of students in the first cycle of good predicate and increased in the second cycle with the predicate very good . Thus it can be concluded that learning with interactive media with discovery learning model can increase the liveliness and learning outcomes of students in thematic learning in sixth grade SDN 62 Lebong

Abstract

The purpose of this research for describe social media use on grade school students high in the District Kepahiang. Type of this research is quantitative survey. Population on this research is all primary schools in the District Kepahiang, totaling 22 public elementary schools. Sample on this research is 170 students from grade 4 to grade 6 in 2 public elemantry school in District Kepahiang. Technique data collection and research instruments this use questionnaire. On research this technique data analysis using formula percentage. Results research this show that social media use of 170 students there are 164 students who use social media, age social media users from 9 years – 112 years, the most social media used that is Whatsapp (93.90%), YouTube (87.19%), Facebook (73.17%), TikTok (68.29%), and Instagram (56.09%). Public elementary school 03 Kepahiang students and public elementary school 22 Kepahiang normal access social media with use mobile phones (91%-97%), laptops (2%-9%), and tabs (1%-7%), they also using social media in various the place like at home (93%-98%) and at school (1%-5%). Students access social media with destination work Duty school (30%-60%), looking for entertainment (45%-50%), and as for elementary school students use social media for transaction sell buy although only little (2%).

Abstract

This study aimed to find out the effect of photography media for Natural Science lesson on the 5th grade elementary students' learning outcomes in Bengkulu City. This study was a quantitative study. The research method applied was a quasy experiment with the matching only pretest-posttest control group design. The population for this research was all elementary schools in Bengkulu City with B accreditation and it was obtained that SDN 77 Bengkulu City and SDN 50 Bengkulu City were selected as the samples. The sampling technique was cluster random sampling. The samples for this study were Class VB of SDN 77 Bengkulu City as the experimental class, and Class VB of SDN 50 Bengkulu City as the control class. The instrument used in this study was a test sheet in the multiple choice form. The test was conducted two times which were before and after the learning process in both of the experimental and control class. The data analysis technique implemented were descriptive statistical analysis and inferential analysis which was t-test. The result data processed by t-test showed the value of tcalculation (4.93) and the value of ttable (1.67) on the 5% significance level, statistically it was seen that tcalculation (4.93) > ttable (1.67). Thus, it may be concluded that there is some effect of photography media for Natural Science lesson on the 5th grade elementary students' learning outcomes in Bengkulu City.
