Abstract

Abstract: The Use of Two Stay Two Stray Model (TS-TS) Using Multimedia in Improving Social Science Learning about Defense of Indonesia?s Freedom for the Fifth Grade Students. The objectives of this research is to improve social science learning about defense of Indonesia?s freedom the use Two Stay Two Stray model (TS-TS) using multimedia for the fifth grade students. This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted within three cycles. Each cycle consisted of two meetings. Subjects of the research were fifth grade students of SD Negeri Winong totaling 24 students. The results of this research showed that the use Two Stay Two Stray model (TS-TS) using multimedia can improve social science learning about defense of Indonesia?s freedom for the fifth grade students.Keywords: Two Stay Two Stray, multimedia, learning outcomes, social science  Abstrak: Penerapan Teknik Two Stay Two Stray dengan Multimedia untuk Meningkatkan Pembelajaran IPS tentang Mempertahankan  Kemerdekaan Indonesia di Kelas V SD. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan  pembelajaran IPS tentang Mempertahankan Kemerdekaan Indonesia melalui teknik Two Stay Two Stray dengan Multimedia di kelas V SD. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) kolaboratif. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Subjek penelitian ini siswa kelas V SD Negeri Winong yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknik two stay two stray dengan multimedia dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran IPS tentang mempertahankan kemerdekaan Indonesia di kelas V SD.Kata Kunci: two stay two stray, multimedia, hasil belajar, IPS.
