<![CDATA[Abstract: The Application of Group Investigation Cooperative Model Using Concrete Media in Improving Learning about Geometry for the Fifth Grade Students of SD Negeri 2 Gemeksekti in the Academic Year of 2015/2016. The objectives of this research are to improve learning about geometry. This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted within three cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Subjects of the research were 23 students of the fifth grade of SD Negeri 2 Gemeksekti in the academic year of 2015/2016. Techniques of collecting data were observation, interview, document, and test. The results of this research showed that the application of Group Investigation cooperative model using concrete media can improve learning about geometry for the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Gemeksekti in the academic year of 2015/2016.Keywords: Group Investigation, concrete media, geometry Abstrak: Penerapan Model Kooperatif tipe Group Investigations dengan Media Konkret dalam Peningkatan Pembelajaran Bangun Ruang pada Siswa Kelas V SD N 2 Gemeksekti Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran bangun ruang. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) kolaboratif yang dilaksanakan selama 3 siklus, tiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SD N 2 Gemeksekti tahun ajaran 2015/2016 yang berjumlah 23 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes.
