Abstract

Penggunaan public figure asal Korea sebagai brand ambassador sedang ramai digunakan sebagai strategi komunikasi pemasaran oleh perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang e-commerce. Salah satunya adalah Tokopedia, perusahaan teknologi Indonesia yang didirikan pada tahun 2009 oleh William Tanuwijaya dan Leontinus Alpha Edison. Tokopedia telah bekerjasama dengan BTS sejak September 2019 dan memperpanjang kontrak kembali pada 25 Januari 2021. Harus disadari bahwa, respon konsumen merupakan hal penting bagi perusahaan, karena pada dasarnya respon konsumen mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian dan menjadi salah satu tolak ukur bagi komunikasi pemasaran yang digunakan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui level respon ARMY (fans BTS) terhadap BTS sebagai brand ambassador Tokopedia menggunakan AISAS Model yang terdiri dari Attention, Interest, Search Action dan Share. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara terhadap 12 partisipan penggemar BTS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa para partisipan menaruh attention dan interest serta search yang cukup tinggi terhadap BTS sebagai brand ambassador Tokopedia. Para partisipan juga telah melalui tahapan AISAS hingga pada tahap share meski ada satu partisipan yang tidak mencapai pada tahap share dan baru sebagian partisipan yang melakukan pembelian pada tahap action. Dengan ini, adanya kredibilitas serta karakteristik BTS sebagai brand ambassador Tokopedia mampu menarik perhatian para konsumen, sehingga Tokopedia selalu masuk ke dalam trending topic atau viral dan menjadi e-commerce paling banyak dikunjungi. Selain itu penggunaan BTS sebagai brand ambassador berperan dalam membangun brand awareness akan brand Tokopedia.

Abstract

Culture is one of Indonesia's wealth. The role of the community, especially indigenous peoples in Indonesia, is to preserve the culture inherited from ancestors so that it is not lost in the modernization era. In this case, the importance of younger generation, as the successor of the nation, knows the meaning of a tradition so that it becomes part of the preservation of culture itself. The purpose of this study was to find out the message contained in the communication of Mungka trade rituals in Tepal Village, Sumbawa Regency. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive. The data collection technique used is with primary and secondary data. In determining informants in this study, researchers used purposive sampling techniques. The results of this study show that the message in the Mungka traditional tradition is not just a symbol of the maturation process. But it holds a deep meaning apart from the symbol of maturity. The traditional procession is expected to be a procession that makes the people of Tepal Village become responsible humans and respect the cultural values taught by the ancestors, with the increased responsibility expected by every community.

Abstract

The Samawa tribe is one of the tribes in Indonesia. Each tribe has its own traditions that are different from the others. One of the traditions in Sumbawa is , namely the Pasaji Ponan Culture, has a unique characteristic, namely the snacks that are given in charity at the celebration must be boiled. Meaning that the snacks served cannot be fried. So, the focus of this research is to find out “The Meaning Of Serving Food In The Pasaji Tradition Using Symbolic Interaction Theory”. The mehod used is interpretive qualitative method with the symbolic interaction approach of George Herbert Blumer,s idea. As for informants who selected consisted of 4 (four) types of character characteristics, namely religious leaders, community leaders, traditional leaders and heads of traditional institutions as well as 1 (one) supporting informant from women who were obtained through the purposive sampling technique. There are 2 (two) types of data used, namely primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through in depth interviews technique, while secondary data was obtained through books, journals and other relevant sources. Data were analyzed using the interactive Miles and Huberman method. The results show that the meaning of the snacks presented has a meaning. analyzed using the interactive Miles and Huberman method. The results showed that the meaning of the snacks presented had philosophical meanings including: 1). Serving food as a symbol of plant fertility, 2). Serving food as a medium to strengthen kinship ties, 3). Serving food as a form of prayer. As for the presentation process, namely the snacks are arranged neatly into a tray (stable) and then closed using a serving lid. The snacks consist of 6 (six) types of snacks, namely buras,petikal, lepat,topat,dange, onde-onde and banana with added water drink.
